This recently introduced (Summer 2014) Android based product using micro USB connector should NOT be confused with the very capable similar devices Elgato sells outside the USA.It parallels the features of the previous Elgato device targeted toward earlier Apple Iphone/Ipad/Ipod models that use 30 pin connector and suffers from the same DYLE.TV imposed limitations on channels and geography.PRO:1-Works with most current Android phones and tablets with OTG support (Verify with your phone manufacturer)2-Compact device with 2 different types of antennae3-Android software readily available on playstoreCON:The device is well made and performs as expected within the limits enforced by the ATSC M/H standard.These deficiencies are because Elgato adopted the ATSC M/H standard aka Dyle TV.1-Extremely limited channel availability. I am within sight of the DC based TV towers and I got only 3 channels.2-Limited geographical support. See aboveBEWARE any TV devices in USA market referring to DYLE.TV They are very limited in terms of channels available!!!!This version is designed to support a variant of USA broadcast standards designated ATSC M/H aka DYLE.TV.Most true ATSC standard devices will pick up all the free over-the-air channels available in your region. (In my zip 22314 location I get over 55 channels!!) YMMVDYLE.TV (ATSC M/H) is a special variant of the TV transmission standard that requires different broadcast equipment designed for TV reception in a moving vehicle. Only a small number of US TV broadcasters have implemented this additional hardware. It is NOT compatible with the broader ATSC standard!!!IMHO, Elgato severly limited the market acceptance of this product by adopting the ATSC M/H standard. This product would be a real winner with mass appeal were it built to match the more appealing and widely available standard ATSC spec.Cannot in good conscience recommend this very limited device. Look for a real ATSC device that is not hindered by the DYLE.TV designation. They're out there!.

Doesn't work! All I get on all four of my Android devices is: "no device found"One being a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, another a Casio C811. The Kindle Fire HD wouldn't even download the app.
