Death Warmed Up VHS

I enjoyed Severin's new release of Death Warmed Up. The problem is none of the special features are present on the DVD. Maybe they rushed the release, or the disc isn't working properly, though it's strange, because the movie itself played fine. I can't even find a DVD menu on the disc, so something is wrong. Severin?

Pretty awful movie. I suppose it has its audience and some who remember it fondly, but I found it to be dull and almost a pointless watch. It delivered in no aspect. The story was pretty lame, nudity was lacking, effects were few and even action was just not there. I guess there was potential, but never realized. If anything I did like the one bad guy, but it was all so mediocre that nothing stood out.

Great to see a bootleg/illegal version of my film here on Amazon.

Amazon needs to get their years straight.

1984 not 1919 Amazon Prime has no right doing this and they do it over and over again and again. Amazon Prime know you have Big Computation.

I loved this film the day I rented it when it came out in the video stores, in the great ONLY days of HORROR!!!!

Could have been worse.

This is one of my favourite horror movies of all time.Made in New Zealand it follows two young couples on a mission to confront and perhaps destroy your classic mad scientist who has gone too far in his experiments trying to conquer death itself.In his clinic on a strange island he has inadvertantly created an army of frenzied zombies, the by products of his illegal brain operations and wouldn't you know it?, our meddling kids bring about their escape on to the already terrified community.Tongue in cheek black humour, gorey effects, bizarre characters and over the top performances guaranteed as well as an excellent soudtrack.The only dissapointment is that this DVD release is the cut version that came out on video in the eighties, it would be nice to see it in it's full un-censored glory.

This is an old time classic. Me and my brother can quote most lines out of it! If you like old fashioned horror then this film is for you.

Je ne sais pas ce qui est le pire dans ce film de genre néo-zélandais, la débilité du scénario, le jeu immonde des acteurs ou bien le caractère cheap et minable des décors. Certes, les images du Blu Ray sont très correctes et c'est bien le seul bon point, car jamais plus je ne regarderais ce film d'erreur. Amazon mélange toutes les critiques pour gonfler les notes des plus mauvais produits. La seule place d'une telle œuvre est dans un broyeur à DVD. Rendez-vous service ne l'achetez pas et même ne le regardez même pas en téléchargement cela risque de vous gâcher la journée...
