Better than sharpies
We use them at the sandwich shop I manage to label all salads and sandwiches for service. They last longer than the retractable sharpies, and even though the tips don't stay sharp the tips stay firm their entire life. (Unlike sharpies- their tips get flat and pushed up into the marker before they're even dead sometimes)

They dry out too fast
I use these for work because I have to use a sharpie a lot, and it's convenient to have the click, but they seem to dry out faster than I thought they should. The regular permanent markers that use a cap don't dry out near as fast

Much better than having to pull a cap off
I didn't have any dry ones out of box. They last reasonably long. Also different from my co worker's sharpies click markers so I know they're mine. Much better than having to pull a cap off.
