Great kettle I like the blue LED lights up the whole kettle I brought this for my mum but sadly she does not like it I thought it was good for her, you can see the water level as my mum just turned on a kettle without checking it's got water in it here its glass so you can, see my mum says it's too heavy I thought it was OK it was a little heaver that are old kettle which was metal I think it was because I did not ask her we did not need a new one but I liked it thought it was flashy I will not send it back I just said to my mum give it away to someone in need which is my mum lol great kettle go buy

My old kettle developed a leak of steam from around the lid , and it kept scalding me. It was time for a new kettle. I chose this one as it looks as though it has a English controler fitted?. I also did not want a plastic thing as many seem to be. This one is glass and stainless steel, but has plastic for the handle and lid, which would be difficut to avoid. Pity is made (mostly ?) in China as most are. One thing I never thought about. You can just put a small quantity of water in, for just one cup of tea or your choice of drink. With the old kettle I was putting rather a lot of water in it to make sure it didn't boil dry. To boil a small amount means I AM SAVING MONEY which is great. I just hope it shows up on my bill. My brother put a meter in, and the thing that showed up as eating most electric was the kettle.!! We should all get glass ones (kettles) it would possibly save the country a fortune. How about that then.

This kettle arrived in its own box, not inside an Amazon box. I suspect I had been sent a faulty appliance. The kettle is defective. The switch would not stay down to start boiling. Tried several times, sometimes it starts up then switches off after a few seconds, regardless of how much water is inside it. I had read reviews, some with similar issues, but overall the reviews were positive and I took the chance.I did not have to go to all the hassle of returning this defective kettle. The customer service was excellent and issued a full refund. Shame about the defect on some of these kettles. The one star is purely against this product defect and no reflection on the seller’s response.

We had a boiling water tap in our old house, and so when we moved we needed a cheap solution until we redo the kitchen and install another tap. This fit the bill perfectly and for the price I am hugely impressed. It boils super quick and the blue light when the kettle is on looks good but is also a good visual indicator it’s powered and turned on. The filter is easy to remove and clean too the only negative for me is that I live in a hard water area so it leaves marks on the glass. Someone else mentioned a trick so I have given it a try, and it work’s perfectly. Mix half a bottle of lemon juice with water and let it sit over night. Pour away in the morning and rinse and the kettle looks as good as new again. No lingering smell or taste either. Would recommend.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  As you can see in my short video clip this kettle doesn't always want to turn on when you press the start button - it also sometimes tends to turn off before it has boiled. This problem seems to be inherent in these type of switches as I have had the same problem a few years ago on another brand kettle with a similar mechanism - I worked out that if you apply a slight sideways pressur and hold the switch for a few seconds it works. A shame really because the kettle looks really nice and works OK when it eventually turns on and stays on.

My 2nd kettle in a couple of years now.I like to go for glass rather than plastic for purity.However,this kettle is slower to boil than my last one-both rated at 2 kw.Irritatingly this one stays on the boil for FAR too long-bad for both your pocket and the environment.This seems a common failing for modern/glass kettles.Also,not the best pourer,even after removing the filter at the spout.So overall,it works,its ok,but frankly,you can probably do better than this tbh.

Rubbish, used it 3 times and now it keeps switching its self-off within 30 seconds, (unless I just got a dodgy one) do yourself a favour and spend a little more cash on a more branded one,100% for amazon and the hassle free returns.

Great little kettle that boils in no time, bought as we have a "one cup" single boiler which is great for cups of tea but useless for cooking.I would say its worth paying the little extra and upgrading to the 3KW model.(Side note, not sure Amazons "rate features" function is working correctly, its asking me to rate the flavour of my kettle? Or how warm it gets.... I mean if it doesn't get water to boiling then its not doing what its designed for!)
