Magical stuff
I absolutely love this product. I have noticed over the years that I had what looked like two bald spots on the back of my head. My hairdresser said they are not bald spots. She said as I age my hair is not as thick as it was in my younger days, and as my hair is much thinner now it tends to separate leaving wide open spaces in the back of my head. Another words, your hair sometimes does it's own thing as you get older. It doesn't necessarily go where you want it to. Something else to look forward to as we get older. Well I hated those 2 parts on the back of my head and I was bound to fine someway to cover them. Made a search on Amazon for "covering bald spots" and wham this item came up on my screen.I started using the product the next day and OMG the results were amazing. Yesterday I had went to see my hairdresser and when she saw the back of head, she said what on earth have you done to cover up the "bald spots". I told her what it was and where I found it and she said she had another client with the same problem as myself and was going to tell her about it. She was amazed at how well it covered. And it does not look fake, it just looks like your own hair all neatly in place. Also, you don't have to apply every day, it will last until the next time you shampoo your hair. LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

The BEST
My husband swears by this. Literally has probably at this point ordered hundreds, no exaggeration. He has a very small thinning area in the back of his head that he’s not to thrilled about so he’s been using this for years and says it works the best.It is a little messy since it is like a powder hut definitely works great

Just wow. Inexpensive, so just try it.
A bit of background: I'm a 42 y/o male, natural dirty blond, but have dyed my hair since I was 15, an keep it long, to the middle of my back. I'm also VERY pale skinned, so any bad dye jobs or thinning shows worse than anything else. Doubly so that I dye my hair jet black. In the last 8+ years, my already naturally thin hair started an continued to thin, to where it is whispy an a growing bald patch in the top center an of course a receeding hairline.Looking to save for a Bosley surgery, but until then, for the price, I figured I'd give this gimick a try. Just like infomercials, right?Wow. Just...wow. It works! Just did a quick dusting, an incredibly my patch was fine, an I couldn't tell it was even there!A short pat an very light hair spray dust, an it stays there. No staining my pillow, an hasn't sweat off. In the shower it came right off with shampoo.Cons: of course nothing is perfect; you have to make time to do this, but another 5 minutes is nothing.Keeping it in stock an different colors; I started as a trial with a 0.87oz can, an as its so fine, should last a few weeks, but have to remember to keep it in stock in my medicine cabinet. Also, as I dye my hair, I have to have a couple different shades/colors, as sometimes I can't get to dying my hair as often as I should to gloss black.I do wish there was an air pump applicator like other brands as it seems it would be easier an more controlled, but whatever. It is a FINE keratin powder...so it's worse than sand. It. Gets. EVERYWHERE. Though it washes from surfaces with just a water rinse, it DOES dust everything around where you're using it. After the first use, I've just decided to apply it on my front porch outside. Do the same an thank me later. From 3 feet, it looks natural-ish. A bit "fuzzy looking" closer than this, but overall very good.Pros: Check my before an after. Hell, I didn't realize my bald patch was even that big! To my defense, I'd never seen the back of my own head. LolNot a lot is needed at all, so a little goes a long way. Any "after spray" (I.e., touching up hairlines an speckle your forehead), damp cloth takes it right off.Can run your fingers through it without staining. Won't stain pillows. Comes off easily in showers, but stays put in light rain an doesn't run. Sweating didn't affect it. Even better with a simple light hairspray dusting.Better than nothing, an a huge difference, if not perfect. Closest to having replacement surgery, IMO.Just try it, its inexpensive an I was HIGHLY skeptical. Now wish I'd tried sooner.Good luck, an hope this helps! Any questions, just ask!EDIT: So after a full day at work ( manual labor in the NC August heat an sweating profusely), still holding up! No runs, but did need a quick touch-up after 6 hours...impressed! I did notice the product works best with dry hair. To clarify, just washed clean hair an dried it works good, but day-old hair better. I can only surmise that it has to do with static making the fibers adhere better. Either way, I suggest a VERY light hairspraying to"set" the product. Again, this isn't perfect, but SO much better than nothing! First time in a few years I HAVENT worn a hat at work.Would be 5 stars, but I think an air pump or pump/shield guard would be even better. Even then, I cannot get over the ingrained thought that I'm "cheating". Then again, this isn't really fair, as the product absolutely does what it is designed for..this is just a mental stigma.

and it will look like clumpy black mascara
I bought this several months ago and have used it extensively since. A little about myself, I suffer from TTM(Trichtilliomania) which is an obsession with hair-pulling. You can imagine that I'm quite familiar with ultra thin hair with excessive bald spots. One of the reasons why I bought this was for the tagline that they put - "Covering thinning hair or bald spots". Here's the thing, I received a letter(after I bought it) stating it's not at all for covering bald spots. Hmmm... okay then! Well here's how it went.During the hottest summer of about 115 degrees with yucky humidity--- I used it. No, it does not work on bald spots at all. There's nothing to stick to after all. But it does cover up thinning spots IF you comb(finger comb or with a comb) through it. The trick is to layer it a shake at a time, comb through, shake fibers, repeat. Use a pump spray(The aerosol cans are way too strong) to lightly spritz into place. Repeat again until your hair starts to look natural. Here's the Cons of using it during a hard rain or hot summer season; It will melt away. It will scurry down your face, and it will look like clumpy black mascara. If you sweat excessively - it will do the same thing. So this isn't a perfect solution but for someone like me, it's a very decent, affordable one. I do intend to use it again. For its price I feel it's value is appropriate. Just keep in mind to not layer it on thick at one time, lightly comb it through, check to make sure that your ears/forehead/shoulders have no errant flecks, and to use a pump hair spray to seal it.
