Really Nice, Did Not Disapoint
I've used the ThermoPro TP63B for almost a year now and I'm very satisfied with the performance of this unit. I worked will during the winter and have not disappointed during the hot summer. The outside unit is really nice, easy to use and mount; it also contains a rechargeable battery which I love about it. The inside unit is easy to read and offers just the right amount of information including temperature and humidity for indoors and outdoors. The base wall unit can be battery operated or plugged in using a USB interface. I use the USB with a battery backup because it allows you to control to brightness of the display. When using only the battery options you can't adjust the brightness. The base wall unit also provides a barometric pressure readout with a weather prediction window. How accurate that feature is I'm not sure because I have no way to test the pressure readings. You won't get a weekly forecast, only the next day or perhaps the next half day weather prediction. That is practically useless to me because if I want to know the weather for the next few hours I can simply look outside. Regardless, I just don't use that feature, the rest of the TP68B makes up for it, the unit is really great for the money.

Accurate, attractive, and easy to read.
This is a nice, accurate indoor/ outdoor thermometer. We have the outdoor sensor on a screened porch, sheltered from sun and rain, and in easy view of the indoor monitor. Set up this way the thermostat is very accurate. It is attractive and easy to read. Please note that the instructions aren't so user-friendly. But once it is is set up it is a very nice product.

Unit surpassed expections
Replacement as well as verification with same features as an old >30 years Tandy LCD unit purchased. The unit will allow you to run on rechargeable batteries as well keep Display illuminated using a USB cable. Remote sensor will charge by USB cable. Have remote sensor in window in rear of building over 90 feet away (Wooden Structure). Readings match the Tandy Unit exactly, which I always questioned because I live on a hill which is 663 feet above sea level which affects Barometer readings which display a 1 unit difference. The colorful display is quite pleasing compared to the LCD Radio Shack Tandy unit. The accuracy in the predicted weather (Colored Icons (Clouds/Sun/Rain) requires some patients in respect to readjustment of actual conditions reflected over a week of simple adjustments by button on rear of unit but will reflect accurately over time with no additional adjustments)) is covered in the small booklet that comes with unit. Millibars was accurate from initialization. Cannot provide any insight as to longevity but I have several other simple units from this company that are over a 1=2 years old (Only sense temp remotely battery units remotes are rechargeable as with the original unit evaluated last 2-3 months before recharging thru USB Cable). Attractive display but sensor range may be a problem for some
This unit has a number of things to commend it. It's attractive, the display is large enough to read across the room and I like the fact that it's powered by a USB cord along with backup batteries. The remote sensor has a rechargeable battery that's far superior to the low-capacity AAA batteries used in some other units made by the same company. Now for the bad. The remote sensor range is poor. There's only one spot on my home that will give accurate temperature readings throughout the day and it is about 60 feet from the base unit. As soon as the air temperature goes below about 60 degrees it behaves like it is out of range and the outdoor display reading goes blank. The company say the range is 500 feet but clearly that doesn't account for "real-world" applications. Second, the predictive weather based on the barometric pressure is a joke, predicting rain constantly when it's not even getting cloudy. Last, many of the special functions are controlled by buttons on the back which can't be read in normal room lighting. I'm seldom in need of these so I don't care much. Over all, it's not a bad unit for the price if you can get around the poor sensor range.

charging extermal sensor a little difficult
Easy to set up because it comes that way. Charging the outside sensor was difficult because plugs did not fit correctly without much trial and error. Once figured out it is working very well and very bright and easy to see numbers.

Satisfied, met my requirements
This unit, so far has met all my expectations. The outdoor sensor rechargeable battery appears to have a phenomenal battery life between charges. The "at-a-glance" weather is fairly intuitive after you define it a handful of times with the simple press of a button on the rear. I am pleased with this product and transaction and would recommend.

takes about an hour or two when you move the sensor to calibrate to the right temperature
I think this thing is pretty awesome to be honest. The only thing is if you move the sensor ( either the remote sensor or the base sensor) from the inside to the outside, or from room to room, it takes at least a couple hours to show accurately.I have done a controlled calibration humidity test (search Salt humidity calibration on Google) and it came out 72% after 6 hours. a calibrated unit would be 75% exactly. this means it's within +/- 3% RH and they advertise 2%. which is not at all bad for this cheap of a productwhen I put both sensors next to each other in the same spot, they will eventually even out and be within a few degrees accuracy of each other, but it does take a few hours. If you move a remote sensor from the inside to the outside and there's a drastic temperature and humidity change, it can take up to six to eight hours to adjust properly.another thing is the weather prediction is essentially useless. I'm not sure how accurate the barometric readings are, but assuming that they are, The weather prediction algorithm is pretty weak.other than that this thing is a pretty great value.
