Edge & Block (TM) Magnetic Knife Holder Space Saving Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Storage Strip

When i first opened the box, I was impressed with the over all quality. weight. and appearance of the knife holder. But the changed as I started to use the screws provided to mount the holder on the wall. Problem is that the plastic backing to the SS top was not aligned correctly and the screws did not easily slip through the openings. But I drilled the holes out and they were OK. After I installed the holder I took a larger chef's knife to place on the magnetic strips, the magnetic strength was not up to holding the larger knife securely, I rearranged the knifes so only paring and boning knifes would be used on this strip (the larger knives will go on a knife holder from another company). I decided to not return the holder because, while it is not the quality that I expected, I was able to make it work.

The magnet was awful and it was a chore to install. The knives would not stay on and after dropping one too many times I took it down and threw it away, purchasing another that has been great.

simple to install, 2 screws and 2 wall anchors 1 1/2 minutes later you have a knife block installed. Holds all my knives

We like this Magnetic Knife holder very much upon receipt it. it is very well made with good quality of solid stainless steel. The package is nice and neat. We put them out right away. Despite the heavy and big chef's knife, and the Chinese "Chop" block knife, the holder with strong magnetic holds keep the different shapes of knives at a very unique and neat way. We used to use the wood block to store the knives but over the years who knows what has built up inside the wooden holder. This magnetic, hung just right and it is a good display also at a sleek and special way for your kitchen knives and tools. I am very impressed with this product. I am seriously thinking about getting one to put in the garage for my husband to display his tools at this work bench.My rating guide:1 star: Not worth my time or yours. Keep looking for something more quality made. It’s your money, Don’t lose it on a poorly made product.2 stars: Something gives the product a little kick in the right direction. However regardless of what that may be, It’s still not worth the money in my opinion.3 stars: Ok, so this item may have some really cool features, an awesome looking design, or maybe it’s just a killer deal. But overall the pieces don’t all fit, something is off and you need to know about it before making the decision to purchase it.4 stars: Alright now we're talking! This item has met all expectations, the design is sound, the build is great and the product does what it was made for. It’s a great product that I can recommend buying. However, it didn’t completely wow me. This is what most products fall under.5 stars: Wow! This item is amazing; I absolutely love it. Not only does it meet all expectations but it’s a product that’s so well designed, so well built and that has features that are so awesome they literally put a smile on my face.
