These 306 gloves are great for 40° or over depending on activity.
Very happy with the quality and price of Showa gloves. These 306 gloves are great for 40° or over depending on activity. Large fit my hands nicely, not too tight not too loose.(Check out Showa’s web-site for their size chart PDF. My hand measures 8 cm which is a large on their chart.)The Showa 406 gloves are great for lower temps or lesser activity. I always keep a spare pair or a combination available in case my hands get sweaty. For warmer temps the Showa 370 is my go to glove. I'm a groundskeeper/gardener for a Japanese style garden in the Oregon-Willamette Valley. I do a lot of pruning and digging in the dirt/mud during cool rainy weather, which is pretty much daily in the late fall and winter months.

Gloves For A Hard Working Man
My husband loves these gloves. They fit very well and stand up to abuse. He works out in very cold weather, so he puts on thin mittens beneath these work gloves and it works great. This seller made an error in my favor and let me keep the gloves. They are a company with terrific customer service!

Durable and sturdy
These are my absolute favorite gloves for gardening. They last a long time and an all-around good quality work gloves. They are not good, however, when pierced with thorns, or when fingernails are too sharp. I will continue to order them!

I love these gloves the are very heavy duty and still have good dexterity. Used these gloves when fishing in Hawaii, an prevented getting stuck by the sharp back fin spines.

If only they were built 'tough'
Unfortunately these are unsuitable for lifting heavy (20-40 lbs) materials. After 2 days punctures were visible. After one week, these were obsolete. When they were in optimum form, the grip was very nice, and it repelled jet fuel and rain efficiently. If you do lab work like chemistry and such, then these may be suitable. I'd also look for 'nitrile' instead of latex.
