Piscifun Speed X Fishing Line Spool No Twist Adjustable Handle for Reels

I just bought one of these for my baitcasting reel, and I absolutely love it. It works perfectly and there was plenty of tension on the spool of fishing line. Others were saying that you can't get the tension on the fishing line tight enough, but I was able to get plenty of tension by tightening that thumbscrew at the tip of where the spool of fishing line is attached. I haven't tried it with an open face spinning reel but it seems like it would operate properly and the entire assembly is well made with no cheap parts on it. I'm glad I bought it, and I feel that it will save me time as I continue to use it.

I had been using the Gonex line spooler for the past 5yrs. And I also had purchased a second one awhile back. But after the original Gonex line spooler broke and the one I purchased a few months ago (brand new and still in the box) wasn't acting right either. So I came back on Amazon in search of another easy to use line spooler. and this piscifun line spooler popped up and I decided to give it a shot. It came in the original box just like it would if i had purchased it at Bass Pro Shop. It came already assembled and ready to use out of the box. I spent maybe 5 minutes figuring out what everything does and how it works. I put the line on the spooler, put my reel on the reel seat, tied my line to my reel and started crankin. Super simple to use. It not only put the line on with "NO LINE TWISTS" but it also put the line on the reel evenly. It's designed to work with any size line spool small, medium or large. So all i can really say at this point is So far so good. I would definitely recommend this piscifun line spooler to any fisherman or fisherwoman who prefers to spool up their own reels and are tired of dealing with line twists in their line. And lastly it's priced under $30 and it arrives fast.

Seems to be made well. I have used it 3 times already without issue and am satisfied with it. Takes a lot of the 'fiddling around' out of the manual process. Definitely faster! I also like the 'unwinding' capability when taking off old line. If you have multiple reels, I'd recommend this tool. Only 4 stars due to cost.

Works fantastic for a baitcaster. I’ve not used it with an open face reel yet. Here’s a tip for use with small spools with small holes: use the un-spooler handle and rod to keep the centering cones inline with each other and square to the spool. Also, when unspooling a reel, bypass the reel’s eyelet and just take off directly from the spool. The natural side to side motion will allow the line to settle on its new spool more evenly without having to guide it back and forth with your finger. You can also GENTLY attach a drill to the rod (use a small piece of tape on the threads to keep from marring them up with the drill chuck’s jaws) to speed things up when un-spooling line.

This things is awesome. Makes it so much easier to spool your reels. Works well to rake line off your reels too. Wish I had bought this years ago.

Do you fish? Then you use fishing line. Which means, at some point, you have stood there wondering why replacing line somehow requires three hands, a pencil, another person, and the patience of a monk. This little tool fixes that. It makes spooling new line onto a reel dramatically easier, keeps everything controlled, and turns what used to be an annoying chore into a very simple process. The part I really appreciate is that it also helps remove old line back onto an empty spool. Instead of ending up with a giant tangled bird’s nest of monofilament ready to escape into the garage, yard, or environment, I can spool it neatly and dispose of it safely. It’s not flashy. It does not catch fish. It will never tell an impressive fishing story. But it quietly removes one of the most annoying parts of owning fishing gear. Five stars. Do you fish? You use line. Buy the little line machine.
