Sharp and great case. Tough little bits.
Tiny and sharp and for their size durable under pressure. The included case is quite nice and very useful. Glad that I found these and they have worked very well for my little projects.

Time saver
Great product. Holds edge very well. Drill through stainless steel plates with no problem.

I'm surprised how good these are
I'm impressed. I've only drilled about 30 holes through 1/8" steel plate, but the one bit I've used has cut amazingly well. I had to drill a couple of holes through material I had welded up, and the bit just dove right in - nice curls and no chirping. I would definitely buy these again. Oh, and the 5mm is perfect for tapping for 6mm screws.

Snapped 4 in the first hour.
I bought this set for drilling and tapping holes in a steel server cabinet during a hinge retrofit. The job involved drilling overhead, through painted sheet metal and a steel backing plate, using a handheld drill in a very awkward position. The bits cut reasonably well when new, but I ended up breaking four bits during the project. To be fair, this was not an easy applicationโฆ tight quarters, alignment challenges, and some side loading while trying to hit precise locations. I canโt say with certainty that the bits alone were to blame. That said, the bits do seem somewhat brittle compared to higher-end brands. If youโre doing occasional DIY work in wood, plastic, or light metal, theyโll probably be fine. If youโre drilling a lot of steel or doing fabrication work, Iโd recommend having extras on hand or stepping up to a better-quality set. Pros: * Inexpensive * Sharp out of the package * Cut mild steel adequately * Good assortment Cons: * Broke several bits during a demanding steel project * Not as durable as premium bits * Seem prone to snapping if they bind or are side-loaded Overall, they got the job done, but I would consider them a budget set best suited for light to moderate use rather than heavy fabrication work.

Drill baby drill
Good enough! So far, I drilled over 50 holes in a steel bar with just one bit. Of course, I use cutting fluid, and set the speed right and let the drill do the work in an actual drill press. So far, that one bit is not even close to needing sharpening. If these are snapping on you, or getting dull, or are perceived to be dull out of the box, I'm betting you are the problem and not the drill bit.

Very durable drill bits
I have only used one drill bit, so far, but it drilled 18 holes in 1/4" steel very well and was still working great at the end of the job.

Hard, sharp flexable
Hard, sharp yet flexible enough to resist breaking when pressed. These bits drilled my watch lugs through for shoulder less fat pins.

Drill size misrepresented.
I am getting tired of this. You order an 8mm drill, and you get a 5/16. A 5/16 inch drill is 0.3125", an 8mm drill is 0.315", only a 3 mill difference, but that is totally unacceptable. All of my other drills measure out to exactly what is printed on them. I have never ever seen a drill that is even off by 1 mil. So much for trying to save a bit of cash. Take my advice, look elsewhere, but even so, like me, you will probably be disappointed. DO NOT PURCHASE from this seller.
