These housings work very well - they are nearly identical to the factory parts, and that is where the problem lies.Removing the originals was a big problem, as the threaded studs which hold them in place are only press-fit into the plastic of the housing. When I tried to remove the nuts, at least one stud on each started to spin, with no effective way to hold them still. In the end, I had to cut the studs off to get them out.The studs in these new housings are also press-fit, and done very poorly. Gentle pressure on the studs while installing caused multiple studs to fall right out. Eventually I used epoxy to secure all the studs in place, so they would stay during install and hopefully won’t be a problem if I need to ever remove them again.So, a 15 minute job required an hour and a half due to poor engineering.That said, they are cost saving replacements, simply copying the poor design of the original manufacturer. A dab of glue before you crawl under your truck will save you some time and hassle.

After 14 years, the fog lights in my 2004 GMC Envoy were pretty dim and the lenses were ruined. The new units were easily installed and fit perfectly. These new fog lights make the car look newer but also cast a brighter light onto the road. When I replace the halogen bulbs with LEDs, it will be even more awesome.
