The media could not be loaded. Most sewing things are made to fit smaller hands, so this guy often has a hard time finding quality scissors that I can use comfortably. These pinking "zig zag" shears are easy to use, and are SHARP! They cut my sample fabrics quickly and easily, leaving very clean edges. The cloth in the picture if a piece of an old bed sheet, and you can see just how well these shears cut. With other sample fabrics I had the same results, pretty much regardless of the fabric type. The shears are adjusted perfectly, for the right balance between tight blades for clean cuts, and yet easy to use. I am right-handed and cannot address the suitability for left-handed use. The soft grip handles are very comfortable, even for my larger hands. I did not try the shears on paper as my sewing shears never are used for paper to prevent dulling. If I wanted to use these shears for craft uses on paper, I simply would buy a second pair dedicated for that use. One more great point is that the shears are well constructed with the right amount of heft, yet are light in the hand. Given my experience with the pinking shears so far I expect to have years of trouble-free use. Once again, a great quality product from a good company. Highly recommend and no hesitation to buy again.

This is the first pair of pinking shears that I have owned. The only other experience I have is with my Mom's pinking shears. These scissors are exactly what I needed! I'm so glad that they are available because I looked at 4 craft stores and they don't sell them--so order here! I like the distance between the blades. This is why I chose this product over all the rest of the ones I viewed. They are of great quality and cut so clean! They are also comfortable due to the soft plastic on the handle. I used them to cut material for over 2 hours and my fingers/hand did not get sore at all. I used these on a very thin pieces of material to make shabby chic valances so I had to cut about 40 strips of this material. These scissors cut the thin material perfectly with no sticking or fraying. I am so happy with these! I do a lot of research before I buy on Amazon so due to my research I usually get quality products...and this is certainly one of them!

These arrived quickly and were better than I expected. The package was a rectangular box with a fitted insert that housed the Shears. They are clearly produced in an Asian country based on the writing, but I didn't really stop to take note of which country. There was a thin yet sturdy piece of plastic for the upper lid. This could easily be called "gift" packaged or similar. When I removed the shears, I was amazed at how heavy they were for the price. I presumed I would be getting cheaper materials. These are solid. The handles are made of a large grip area and well coated in a rubber material. Between the easy grip and the soft feel of the handles, these do not hurt my arthritic hands. I have already cut 24 thick flannel pieces, double folded out of these in a very short amount of time and my hands do not feel fatigued at all. When pulling the shears out of the box, there was a layer of oil coating the entire surface area. I did have to wipe these down, but the oil was colorless and odorless. It also did not leave any marks/staining on my fabric. They were slightly tight to open and shut the first time, but the function was not impaired and the shears loosened after opening and closing them. These are well worth the money--I would recommend to anyone on a budget.

This scissor is with sturdy steel blades. It is a little stiff to use since it is design for cutting fabric, otherwise it may chew up the material. I don’t have the chew up issue and it is sharp and cutting well. I use it for cloth, ribbon, and papers. Handles are not very soft but made by plastic with rubberized inserts. This is scissor but not cutter, so at the scissor tip/edge within 1’, you may need to put more pressure to cut through the thick material. Overall, I recommend it.

These shears are great so far. I'm left-handed and these work well for me and are comfortable to hold. They cut very well also. I was expecting them to get stuck or not actually cut the fabric (you know what I'm talking about, when shears will just chew at the fabric instead of cutting it). Well, they did not have that problem! They cut the fabric easily and clean. The only issue I did have with them is that I feel they're a bit too big for my hands.

This is my third attempt to use pinking shears. You know they are always a little stiff because of the zigzag pattern and the fact that they tend to be heavy. My first two pinking shears were a disappointment. One was too lite and the other was stiff and did not make clean cuts. Well, this one, although heavy, is easy to handle and makes clean, perfect cuts on fabric. Highly recommended.

difficult to cut thick fabric using these pinking shears. would be fine on thin fabrics or paper goods.

kein Billiggussteil. Werzeugstahl gebogen, da durch leicht aber doch robust. Stoff verklemmt nicht. Liegt gut in der Hand und hat ein gutes Schnittbild. Preis - Leistung top.
