Q: Does it include VEO PA-10 UNIVERSAL SMART PHONE CONNECTOR + REMOTE CONTROLit is not very clear

Hi, yes it does include the VEO PA-10 and remote control.

Q: Does this have a Pan handle/arm to enable panning? A shame if not;the “independent pan lock” is a feature. Is it an optional extra?

This tripod does not have a panning arm . It has the typical ball head with Swiss arcs plate. Once the lock is released it moves smoothly in the horizontal plane.I’ve used it to create panoramic shots . To get horizon horizontal without fuss a tripod levelling base would help. If yo really want the arm try looking at the manfrotto range. They may suit you better. Good luck.

Q: Thanks joe! i didn’t appreciate the role of the ball. does this also offer tilt/vertical movement? i will mostly use this with a cameraphone.

The ball head allows free movement for pan and tilt plus there is a separate lockable panning base so almost any position is catered for.
