Manual says to use ngk cr9ekb** A: Hi, The B stands for the solid tip electrode, and the non B is the threaded top. If your machine doesn't require the solid larger electrode on the top, you can use them. If it does require them, you can still use these, but they do not come with the screw on caps, you would have to have them. I would also recommend using a thread lock solvent of some sort, to keep them from vibrating loose. That is the most likely case of them recommending the solid tops. Jet ski runs like brand new now with these plugs *by J***O on August 24, 2026* Great plugs ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ oem recommend plugs *by J***T on May 28, 2026* best plugs for my bike, zrx1200r ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Plug for Older R6s *by A***V on May 27, 2021* I used these hotter plugs (instead of the factory recommended CR10EK) in my 2003 R6. Where I was having issues breaking up after 14k rpm, these run butter smooth throughout the rev range and are much more suited to the older R6 engines especially higher mileage units. I cannot speak for longevity as they are regular old copper plugs, but they definitely last for quite a while even compared to equivalent Iridium plugs. Highly recommended for first and second Gen R6 (or R6S), however I would stick to the recommended heat range for any newer bikes.
