microKORG XL+ 37-Key Synthesizer/Vocoder with Expanded PCM

I was skeptical seeing this for 36% off of the usual price on other sites... but figured I'd give it a chance since I could always get my money back through amazon. My skepticism was unnecessary! It arrived only a few days after I ordered it, from Japan to the US btw. It is a Japanese model but you can easily find English users manuals on the KORG site. The box was only wrapped with bubblewrap & "please handle with care stickers", but UPS must've heeded that sticker well because it arrived in absolutely perfect condition. I can see how that could backfire on a buyer, but in my case it worked flawlessly so I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Love the keyboard & I'm so glad I didn't spend $600+ to get the same thing from another store.

This is a great synth for old players and new alike. The presets are great and you can create some great sounds right away while you learn the mechanics of creating your own. Highly recommend for beginners or those (like me) rekindling their interest in synthesizers.

A very affordable "Swiss knife" with personality and capabilities beyond expectations. My first vocoder lots of fun. Vintage sounds are really a plus

I didn't like this product at all. First, it is poorly made of cheap plastic. It has a terrible feel to it. The sounds are not that good and authentic. On top, you need headphones as it doesn't have speakers, and they charged me a $43.07 restocking fee that was never mentioned anywhere. Beware, dishonest company.

I bought a lot of different equipment. This I use a lot. Love it and always loved korg. Sounds great. Just as advertised. It's there in the bottom of the pic.

Install the editor on your computer and you can tweak the sounds all day long. Its in my live setup now and has all the sounds I need. Upgrade to a better mike and the vocorder really comes alive.

I am really enjoying using this to play vocals for my music. The device has preset vocoder options with some ability to make adjustments, but I have also started using some other modules as it has its limitations. There are some really nice instruments here as well though. I like that it does not take up a lot of space and keep it on a small shelf. So I feel like it was worth the cost.

Got this for my son's 16th. Awesome starter synth. Love the new "tape" samples on this modle. The sound quality is rich and vibrant with many of the classic Korg samples.

Extremely useful and very good sound quality. Love the fact that you can edit the sounds. Good enough size to be portable and carry around.

Lo mejor es que busque tutoriales en internet porque casi no hay instrucciones. Es una maquina muy complicada de manejar si no estás familiarizado con teclados profesionales. Es para un tipo muy concreto de estilos musicales... Hip hop, Rap, insdustrial sound, etc. Para directos es un poco complicada de llegar a según que parámetros rápidamente. Si no conoces bien este Korg mejor busca otra cosa.
