Great Basic Phone
Great phone. Sound is wonderfully clear. The whole phone is simple does exactly what I want it to...no fancy expensive add-ons.

Good basic phone
We were looking for a nice basic phone that really just acts as a backup / emergency phone when we're not using our mobile phones. We originally went to the local drug store and picked up a $20 phone. It was a total piece of junk and we took it back to the store. Got this one for even less money and it is worlds apart from the junk we got locally.Call quality is nice and clear. It works well on a desk and isn't so light that it flies off the desk when you pick up the receiver. True, it has no number memory or caller ID, but if you're just looking for a solid, inexpensive backup phone, this is just perfect, especially considering the price.

Great phone
The only not so good thing about this phone is that the hand set part is only precariously attached to the phone, when it is on the wall. You have to be careful how you hang it up or it will clatter down. I added a 25 foot cord and I love it. It has very good sound and looks great.

Good basic telephone
This phone, like most other Panasonic products, performs very well. Depending on where and by whom it is advertised, you may see a claim that the listening volume is amplified. It does have an easily adjustable volume control but I find that its max volume is about the same as most other corded telephones ..... so, not much of an advantage. "Amplified" does not really apply. Otherwise, a good value.FOLLOW-UP: After using this phone for several weeks I can add this info . . . . using it on a desk or table will be OK but be aware that when wall mounted there could be a problem. Apparently, the design of the hook that holds the receiver is inadequate and the receiver falls off very easily. My phone is mounted on a kitchen wall where only the slightest contact easily dislodges the receiver. It must now be restrained with a rubber band. Not good.
