Raypack 006714F Sensor Adaptor Digital Elect

I had to replace my manifold and learned the hard way that these cheap plastic fittings break very easily if you over-tighten. I mean VERY easily. It is crazy that these little pieces of plastic are over $20 - but such is life. The NOX sensor on my heater was too big to fit through the hole if this fitting. So. I simply used a drill bit to widen the hole and it worked just fine. I was careful to not scratch the swage-fitting surface as I drilled out the center. To be five-stars they could have included an instruction sheet explaining how to adapt it to the different sensors.

I needed to replace the Raypack 009577F Temperature Sensor Unit on my Raypak pool heater, but this item (which holds it) broke do to age and brittleness. This item was a perfect replacement, except the interior needed to be drilled to 3/8 inch in order to fit the temperature sensor. After that was done, the whole job just took a few minutes and the heater is working again.

Just what I needed, I actually have an older Rheem style heater (owned by Raypack). No one was able to tell me if it came with the internal parts I needed. Koa, another Amazon user let me know it did and I took a chance. Posting a picture of the internal parts for you. The little white plastic ring it comes with was cracked on mine causing a leak. Put this in and leak has been fixed. Ordering a spare!

While this item is not 2 tickets to paradise, it does keep the pool heater running so what else do you need?
