On the side of the Seasonello Sea Salt bottle it reads "Caber, in collaboration with the Department of Food Service of the University of Bologna has developed a new technology that allows the constant presence - even after the jar has been opened - of iodine in this sea salt. Caber therefore guarantees the presence of iodine in this product". Further information may be available at their web site: www.caber.org.
