love it
I purchased this about a month ago for my Quaker parrot when it was on sale with free shipping. She loves it. It is a bigger cage than we probably needed, but toys do take up internal space and there's still plenty of room for her to move around and stretch her wings. I am partial to playtop cages as my birds are only caged for sleep and when no one is home. It gives them personal space while allowing them to interact with eachother and me. The play area has an easy to clean tray and offers a lot of room for toys as well. I do line trays with newspaper to keep the poop and food off the metal and empty the tray daily. The directions weren't difficult to understand. The bolts go in the holes and you tighten it up with the allen wrench they give you. The pictures tell you all you really need to know so there is no need for extended written directions. I barely used them to assemble it. There are 2 or 4 longer bolts and it's easy to figure out where they go too. I had no problems with holes not matching up or not being fully punched out. It took under an hour for this gal to assemble. The color is nice, it tends to fade into the background so it's not overwhelming when you walk into the room. I also love that they included a vial of touch up paint and a paint brush.I can touch up any chips before they begin to rust. It cleans up nicely with Poop-Off wipes and the slanted skirt keeps all the stuff my bird tosses over the edge off my floor. I have a smaller, similar cage for my 25 year old cockatiel and after 10 years, I am pleased with that cage as well. He loves his cage too. It was a steal below $200 with free shipping. Smaller cages were actually more expensive.Bar spacing is the same as my cockatiel's 18x18 cage and it does have a sticker calling it a cockatiel cage, however an African Grey would easily fit in here and be happy.

Worth the money
I have bought 2 from this company and they are amazing quality, well built, and I love them. After 6 month with one and the paint don't chip it's still like new, sturdy and easy to clean. My birds love their house!!!

Prevue Parrot Cage
Item arrived with all but two of the tie wraps busted. A number of items were bent but most could be repaired easily. The "skirts" were all bent but rather than fool with them I left them off...I mean, the seed is on these or the plastic office mat we placed below the cage so what's the diff. The price of $230 is great for a cage of this size particularly with free shipping. Assembly is straight forward. Do not overly tighten the lower panels until the side panels are popped in. Really a slick design. The whole main cage is held together with about 8 screws! The screw count in the instruction inventory is wrong and I actually had extras. Be careful which way those side panels face and which is the top (instructions are little help here). Rollers make cage movement really easy. Only two perches meant a couple hours in the wood shop making 8 more. From unpacking to completed assembly and clean-up took about two hours with just me on the job. Awesome, pleasant color should go with about any interior decor. The drawer size is perfect for dropping in a "thrifty nickel" newspaper sheet. Latches that hold food/water cups are worthless and irritating. Cups hang off level. Main door latch and back-up safety tab is a great design (our parrot is quite adept at opening cage doors....this time he will fail!). An impressive cage that would have netted a 5 star if so many items were not bent or dented.I have used the cage three months now and still really like it. Problem one: the door has no way to hold it open. Our parrot fell the first time he stepped on the door. We now hold it open with a biker's bungee cord stretched from the door to the back of the cage. Problem two: the wire runs vertically on the front and back panels. The bird could not exit the door and climb to the top. I solved this by mounting a three foot dowel rod vertically to the left of the door opening. I used a one inch dowel and placed 3/8 inch dowel "steps" every two inches. These rods were 4 inches long with the top two at nine inches to overhang the cage top. I mounted the dowel to the cage with 1/4X3 full thread bolts. Each bolt used two 1.5inch fender washers and two 1 inch fender washers plus two 1/4 nuts and one wing nut in the following order: 1.5/cage wire/1.5/nut/nut/1"/dowel/1"/wing nut. Hope this helps.

Class Act Cage!!!
This cage is well worth every penny. From the way it is packaged to tightening the final screw—instructions are clear, extra hardware included(just in case), and even a small bottle of touch up paint with brush included (just in case).Great quality product! Sturdy, designed well, obviously by bird people—couldn’t be more pleased.

Great Cage!
This cage went together very easily (though I have had other cages so I had an idea of how to assemble it). I got it as a second cage for my Congo African Grey ... one where he could perch and eat when we are home. I don't think I'd recommend it as an ONLY cage for a CAG due to its smaller size, but it works great as a second cage that I can wheel outside onto the deck or from room to room in the house.Very well made and nice looking. Sturdy and work the money.
