Adequate But Expensive For What You Get
I have been looking at several units similar to this to keep in my cars for emergencies. My criteria include adequate lighting, long run times, USB-rechargeable lithium batteries, a solar cell for helping to keep up against any self discharge, and enough quality components that I can avoid worrying that the thing might explode or catch fire just sitting in the car. My goal for the solar cell in something like this is merely to counter-act any self-discharge that may occur while sitting on the rear deck of my car behind the back seat and between the speakers under the rear windshield.I like the all-black plastic. It is far less ugly than something all-white or the, ugh! ugly, orange that are often used it seems. With the solar cell surrounded in black, the internal reflection onto my rear windshield when this is on the rear deck is minimized. The solar cell is perhaps 2/3 the size of the other main contenders. The handle is fairly sturdy plastic. But the handle's position is controlled with detentes in the pivoting mechanism and they are hard to push. It feels like something is being forced. Odd but still likely ok.The magnets are too small and weak for me to trust much even though this unit is lighter in weight than most others I have tested. It might be possible to introduce larger, stronger magnets that would be more secure. But I wish those built-in were less wimpy. I will basically ignore their presence entirely. It is hard, if not impossible to get this open for further inspection. The screws on the corners of the unit and the handle serve only to hold the corner pieces in place. They do NOT help in opening the unit. Too bad. It seems there is a slit about mid-way up the backside. Along the longer dimension, I can get a small tool in there. But not able to go around the corner or on the smaller dimension at all.The input connector is microUSB. And there is a USB-A connector for output. No indication of amperage on either of these. This is not unusual on the units I have tested. But one of them DOES have that and it seems easy to do and nice to have. While I cannot confirm it (at least not now), the listing says there are 4 x lithium ion batteries inside. I would guess these are 1860 for the claimed total of 10000 maH. This is also stamped on the outside of the case. Such a capacity would require decent quality cells with a true capacity of 2500 maH each to achieve. And devices like this rarely seem to have that high a quality cell. Only a full run-down test and full re-charge will tell for sure. From the point of delivery, I was able to put in at least 4000 maH before metered USB current stopped flowing. It is clear from my metered USB that when the charge-level LEDs show full (all 4 constant on), the battery is still taking charge. The meter shows at least 1000 maH put in after the LEDs all went on constantly. So, as with almost all of these things, the LEDs really suck as an indicator of when the batteries are fully charged. No idea why this is the case.My initial impression is that the light level is quite high on full intensity. The next step down is also quite adequate, I think. I also like the red/blue flasher for emergencies. There is no "flashlight" spot reflector and that is likely ok for my needs. This is physically smaller and lighter than my other main contenders. And with the possible exception of the cover for the solar cell, there appears to be no glass used. The front cover is clearly plastic. So there is a little cause for concern about breakage. And during my rundown test, the light does not seem to get warm enough to endanger the plastic. The listing makes no claim about water resistance and that is good because I doubt it is very resistant at all. If nothing else, the slit I mention above is certainly not water tight in the least. Also, the orange silicone bit that is supposed to cover the USB ports is not really very good or secure. Truth be told, none of the silicone USB covers on any of the units tested seemed all that great. However, the one on my other main contender is clearly better than this one. From a totally full condition (no current flowing into the battery from the metered USB), I turned on the brightest intensity and let the unit just run. After a total of 8 hours and 49 minutes, the light was getting dim enough to not be useful - except, perhaps, for the emergency flasher and I concluded the rundown test. During the vast majority of this time, only a single, green capacity LED was on. In general, these are simply not to be believed or relied upon. The recharge cycle via my metered USB started immediately at .98 amps and stayed at that level for about 7 hours and 4 minutes at which point the charging current taper down to .4 amps and finally to .16 amps just prior to all current stopping. The full recharge required about 10 hours and 57 minutes and required a total of 8325 maH put in. While the battery was not totally drained after my rundown test and might have supported longer use, my sense is that the capacity claim of 10000 maH is a bit overstated. Again, it is interesting to note that the green, capacity LEDs showed all constantly illuminated after 7 hours. So again, these LEDs are a poor indicator of when the unit is truly at full charge. It is clear that the solar cell is connected and, when shown some light, makes the indicator LED illuminate. So we know that at least some electrons are flowing. But there is no way to test the current output of the solar cell because the package cannot be easily opened. My goal for the solar cell in something like this is merely to counter-act any self-discharge that may occur while sitting on the rear deck of my car behind the back seat and between the speakers under the rear windshield. So the way I tested was to fully charge the unit via metered USB and then place the unit in the car and leave it there for at least a week. At the conclusion of this, I brought the unit back into the house and connected it to the metered USB again. I noted that my metered USB shows it takes 0 maH at that time. This is not precise in any way. But it allows me to see if the solar cell brings anything to the party.

Not sure when it is complete charged
The main light is bright. It has never stopped charging when it is plugged in or charging via solar. Haven't used it much yet. I was hoping to get a full charge on it, then use it to see how long it lasts. It seems to charge all the time. May update when I finally use it. Haven't tried using it as charging source for a phone because waiting for a full charge. Charged it several more times and finally on 10/30/22, the lights stopped flashing! At least I now know there is an indication of a full charge. Will now have to see how long the charge lasts.

Good quality
Overall, this light does the job.Downside, the magnets are worth anything… they’re garbage but if you don’t need to use the magnets, this WILL light you up!

BRIGHT
I work in construction (carpenter). I have had smaller lights that I used to move around the room for better illumination. This bad-boy lights up the whole room. It's just like switching on a 60W mains ceiling light. Cons: Shame batteries (4x18650) are built in and not replaceable. Magnet is handy but not quite strong enough for whole day use (as in my case) on a radiator. It slips down over extended amount of time., but doesn't fall off. The magnets should've been put on the arm/handle to make it directional.I've only had it two days, it lasted for three hours full beam for morning, three hrs lower setting during winter daylight on a window sill (solar charging a small bit i think) then three hrs again in afternoon. No problem, long may it last. Great buy.*Day in day out working perfectly. I will buy again when available.

Very impressed
The media could not be loaded. Very impressed, well made quality product. Very bright and battery does last a while between charges. The solar on the rear is great for me working in maintenance so I can leave it on the dash charging. Would buy again

Swiss work light
Very good , I am decorator and have used a lot of work lights corded and rechargeable. This list is so useful , good battery- good solar charger, powers my phone . The light itself I use to go around walls and woodwork looking for imperfections and it works superb especially on all white walls & woodwork. 3 light power settings and red/blue flashing light are the options on this light. And has good handle/stand , and powerful double magnet on back as well . Very lightweight also.I think very well priced compared to other work lights .

So damaged when it arrived, I'm surprised it worked!
This item was clearly second or third hand before it was sold to be as new. Rusted bolts holding the housing together. The plastic was broken and cracked with sharp edges. The plastic that wasn't broken was dirty and grimey. The lens that covers the led lights was scratched. The USB port was so worn and mis treated. The item was in absolutely shockingly filthly and dangerous condition. The light was bright, but I can't comment on battery life as i wont be holding onto this item, its going straight back. I hope they don't forward it onto anyone else! Edit....they contacted me and offered a new light free of charge . Its just arrived and it's great. Perfect working order, new and safe to use.

Best thing I ever brought. Never write reviews.
Best thing I ever brought! Don't think about it just buy it. Well made and just amazing. It charges up easily from being sat on the window sill in winter in Cornwall where it rains all day. It still charged to full! It is literally making me very happy. Often when you buy things these days it comes with a certain feeling of disappointment that the item just isn't what you thought it would be. Very rarely does an item exceed your expectations. This one does!
