Dr Dry Universal Exhaust Heat Protector 4-Stroke Stainless Steel

I purchased this to keep from melting my young daughters boots when we ride the motorcycle. It went on without a hitch, directly on my titanium head paid from my Husqvarna FE 501 exhaust system. We took it out for a test ride, then riding for almost an hour. Very nice design, and looks like it is an OEM accessory. I would recommend and buy again.

Used a pair of these when mounting a set of Akrapovic slip-ons on a FJR1300 (the after-market header pipes have no provision for mounting the right OEM heat shield, and there was no left heat shield to begin with). Heavy gauge stainless (not at all flimsy), they are attractive, and the satin finish is easy to maintain. They mount with stainless pipe clamps (supplied), and the spacing between the mount bolts is adjustable from about 4.16" to 5.09". Best of all, they work extremely well: when the underlying header is hot enough to cause burns, these are barely warm to the touch. Excellent value, would definitely buy again.

I have an FMF powerbomb exhaust so I had to use a larger clamp than the ones supplied. I has worked fine since installing.

It seems like a great piece, especially for the price. The quality is great and it looks pretty good on the bike. No more melting my boots on the pipe!I put a little high-temp loctite on the bolts to stop them from potentially backing out.

The quality is actually better than it seemed in the photos.

最初に他社製のパンチングメタルの製品を購入しましたが、造りがあまりにも雑で取付け中にステーがポロリと外れてしまいました。外れた部分を見ると新品なのに赤錆が浮いていて溶接もいい加減でした。安物買いの銭失いとはよく言ったものです。こちらの製品は倍の値段はしましたが、すべての部品がきっちり作られていて取付けもスムーズでした。マフラーとのクリアランスもしっかり取られていて役目を果たしてくれそうです。安物はやはり安物です。初めからこちらを選ぶべきでした。

取り付け簡単で断熱もそこそこしてくれる。私の場合これを付けて火傷や服が焦げる心配は無くなりました。注意:もちろん完全に断熱するわけではないのでビニール素材のものは溶けると思います。

簡単取り付けでバイクパンツが焦げないようになり満足してます。
