Great solution for Shield TV Pro!
I was having snags with my Nvidia Shield TV Pro not recognizing some of my external hard drives, and it only has two USB ports anyway. After a few googles on similar experiences, I purchased this. I was immediately impressed with quality of build, sturdy and substantial. It cured the issue I had with the Shield and increased my options. Very stable Data Transfers and the individual power switches are an added facility that I find useful. Strongly recommend this product, and will get a 7 port version for my PC. I haven't yet used the charging outlet, so cannot comment on that. Great piece of kit, well worth the money!Woz Cooper

Superb!
Really nicely made product with metal case and trim. Not the usual plastic rubbish!

Works fine
This feels like a good, solid product. I use this to run an Apple Camera Connector into my iPad along with an audio interface and a MIDI Keyboard. I found with an under powered hub, these devices would glitch and with one I tried, the audio interface wouldn't connect, even though it showed lights, so clearly, this hub is providing sufficient power to run everything properly. I would recommend this hub.

Great Product at Great Price
This usb hub is really well made, very sturdy, the connecting cables are really good quality too, all works really well and being able to switch ports on and off is good. Also dedicated charging port for fast charging phones as long as the device supports it. Really pleased with the product and a really good price

Well made USB Hub but Poor Quality Power Supply
This USB Hub appears to be very well made, mainly metal constrution.Switches appear to be made of high quality plastic. The main concern is with the Power Supply Unit (Plug). There is a low, constant, whine coming from the unit. Even when the unit is plugged in(Powered on) but not connected to the USB Hub, the whine is still there. When you turn the power off the whine slowly dissappears. I suspect poor/noisy internal components within the unit. I have other devices, from well known big manufactures with external Power Supply Unit that are completley silent. I intend to use it unpowered most of the time so shouldn't be a problem.Nice to have the option of a fast charge USB but not sure of the reliabilty of the Power Supply Unit if left powered on all the time.

Good but flawed design
Firstly the speed and abilty to switch off USB devices are very good, I have not had issues with the buttons so far like others have mentioned, I also did not use the power supply as I didn't need this for charging, so I cannot speak to how good this is but I am always cautious about plugging powered items in to my PC if I don't know the brand. The item looks good but is a little lightweight and the rubber feet don't really hold it in position so would have been nice to have some sticky pads included but you can always buy them elsewhere.Really what is annoying to me though is poor design!.... the power buttons run along 1 side and the power lights along the other edge at an angle....... between the 2 are the usb ports so if you want the lights facing you and have the ports filled the power buttons are behind the USB plugs making it awkward to press or make sure you are pressing the right button. If you have the buttons towards you then the lights become redundant as you can't see them and the final option is to run it sidewards which is usable if you have it to the left of you but if you have it to the right again you can't see the lights.... the included USB cable is about 4 foot long so if your pc is on the right of you that's not an option. If the set up works for you it's good but why the buttons are not on the same side as the lights is a really bad design and for my purposes is hard to recommend.
