Great value for the money, ideal for night hunting, fully adjustable from very bright tight beam to a gentle defused wide beam, as good as any red lamp that I have used.

Using for night fishing, works well but very bright. All functions works well, could do with being a softer lighting. Overall very pleased

I bought this for night photography as most head torches with both white and red beams are too dim with the red. This is bright, even on the dimmer settings. A third even dimmer setting would have been nice. Besides the brightest and dimmer settings, a rapid flashing setting will attract attention, but not be used anywhere near someone with epilepsy. You must scroll past that to turn the light off. The beam changes from a narrow square to a wide circular spread by pulling the outer sleeve of the lamp. The light tilts on a ratchet; there are six positions. You can also remove the battery pack from the head strap and, with the use of a hex key, remove the lamp from it too. It comes with 2 x TR 18650 3200mAH 3.7V (larger than AA) rechargeable batteries. These charge in the unit via a micro-USB socket. That lost this a star; it should have been the more modern and ubiquitous USB-C socket. A good bit of kit.

I wanted a head mounted light for astrophotography that didn't have a white light mode. This was the perfect option. It feels well built, fits nicely and will work well if I am working in the cold and wearing a beanie. It comes with two 18650 batteries that recharge in the head set. It makes the rig feel a little weighty but not so much that it bothers me. The bright and dimmer modes are ideal for my purposes.

Everything is like new, but as the bulb is non replaceable, it is now scrap. Less power and a longer life would have been much better. Would not buy again.

Got to be honest I only brought this as a bit of a gimmick item but a couple years on and it's still going strong so I think it's good value for the DIY user

Acheté pour un déplacement de nuit dans la nature, cette lampe correspond à mes attentes. Puissante,bonne autonomie, je suis très satisfait.

Man findet viele LED-Stirnlampen,auch mit rotem Licht,aber man muss sich durchschalten bis man mal rot haben möchte,wofür soll das rote Licht sein,in erster Linie andere Menschen und Tiere nicht zu Blenden,wie es z.B. mit weißem Licht wäre,außerdem passt sich das Menschliche Auge sich der Dunkelheit schnellerer wieder an,wenn man rotes Licht an hatte,statt bei weißem Licht. Man findet bicht so viele rote Led-Stirnlampen,und vom Preis-/ Leistung einfach nur TOP!!! Wie man hier mal geschrieben hatte,dass die Stirnlampe im dunkel schwer aufzuziehen sei,kann ich jetzt persönlich nicht sagen. Sie wirkt hochwertig,macht schon was her,roter Strahl geht von sehr hell über die Hälfte dunkler,und blinkend. Sie leuchtet relativ weit für eine Sturnlampe,Lichtkegel verstellt man ganz einfach,nicht drehen,sondern einfach nur nach vorne ziehen. Wenn man weit strahlen lassen möchte,muss es nach vorne gezogen werden,es ist dann kein kleiner Kreis,sondern quadratisch (Anordnung der LED'S). Für wen ist so eine Stirnlampe interessant,nach meiner Meinung sehr für Fotografen geeignet,aber auch für Nachtwanderungen,Camper und vieles mehr.
