The BIGGEST fear of buying on line is not getting what is promised. This fluke could turn me off completely from trusting online purchases. The product is”100 piece regular Canning jar lids” I got only 75 pieces 25 people did not get gifts this year

They creased when canning made poorly

Poor quality lids and over priced

The media could not be loaded.  I have se this product for pressure canning and dry canning in the oven. 3 out of 6 of these lids bucked up instead of sealing. They will do this a high heat canning.

The title clearly states that these are wide mouth lids that fit wide moth jars. However, if you take the time to read through the text it says they are regular mouth lids. I ordered based on the misleading title so didn’t get what I needed. At least one other person seems to have experienced the same results based on reviews.

First of all let me say I have been canning food for over 50 years, so I know what I am doing. I ordered these sets of lids/rings and also a box of lids only from this company. First off the edge of the lids is very sharp and I have cut myself on them multiple times while washing them. I have had 5 jars of apple pie filling come unsealed after setting overnight and some jars have come unsealed 2 days later. This has also happened with tomatoes and my sister-in-law (whom I gave lids to) has had the same thing happen of some items she canned. I regret spending money we could not afford to waste. Do not buy this item.

Great price for rings and lids but I only got 50 of each when I thought I was getting 100 of each

I have always used name brand lids and bands but can’t get them right now due to shortage. I tried these and my first batch wrinkled but all sealed. I left more head space in my jars my next batch and they all sealed without wrinkles. Also I only finger tighten as the directions said.
