Although designed to operate intermittently, most models can run continuously for several hours at a time. These pumps can be operated either in demand mode (pressure switch controlled) or in delivery mode (controlled by external power switching device). Amazing Demand Booster!
This is one awesome delivery pump for the money. I live is a rural equestrian community with well water which has never been a problem until our refrigerator died. The old one worked just fine with ice maker and water in the door but almost all of the new ones require 60 to 120 psi of water pressure. Our appliance is connected to a reverse osmosis system and backed by a well so we could not get that pressure. The ice maker worked but the water in the door, not so much. I purchased this pump online and after a quick checkout and speedy delivery we received this little lifesaver. It took me about 5 minutes to connect the lines and plug it up, easy install! We powered the pump and the water lines jumped straight up tight and pressurized! When the ice maker demands water you hear very quiet clicks for about 10 seconds, it is fast, efficient and silent! I grabbed a cup to get some water out of the door to test it out and boy, our fire department would be jealous of the pressure we get for clean ice cold water! It had solid metal construction and is a hefty little machine and completely, 100% made in the USA!! I have a bet that this pump outlasts the reverse osmosis system and the new refrigerator combined! I can think of hundreds of uses for this pump but it is doing a fine job, making a $1800.00 appliance work correctly! Thank you AWI for giving us a solid product and an amazing price!!

how long is it warranted by seller?
I bought the pump on April this year, so far it is just less than two month, but the pump already stopped working. how long the warranted period it is?

Delivery Pump
Delivery Pump, It works great. I noticed right after I bought it that they raised the price on It. It' s not too too loud. I would not buy It again, because I can find better small water pump at a better price that can produce higher water pressure than this one.
