I bought these because my senior dog had a leakage issue going on after leaving the hospital.I purchased 3 sizes. This large one literally covers the bottom half of a King size bed horizontally. They work well. I actually put a couple of towels on top of the blanket.I also got one to cover his orthopedic bed which is the next size smaller and the next size down from there to put on his spot on the couch.There very soft, cuddly and effective. The only downside i find is after you wash them you need to allow time to hang then to dry so having an extra one to use in the interim is a good idea. I tried the dryer but it takes forever and I constantly had to turn it over in the dryer. Again, my dog has leakage so I havent had an experience where he empties his bladder completely on them.I

I have an elderly, rather pukey cat and so I was waiting for her to inevitably puke on the blanket before writing a review. I'm delighted to announce that it really works! No puke seeped through to my bed! It's also soft and cozy, really comfy to use as a 'human' blanket too. It's easy to clean in the wash and didn't stain. Because of the waterproof layer inside you'll have to give it a couple of extra spin cycles in the washer to get it wrung out enough to dry.

Got a puppy and found this. What a great product that does what it’s says it does. Left it on my bed at night as a “just in case” while potty training. So easy to throw in the wash instead of my whole comforter.

Feels great and looks good. Haven’t tested the “waterproofness” of it and hopefully won’t have to but feels like there is material inside that would block any leaks.

I put this in the car on a long roadTrip with my cats and they ended up peeing but none of it went through to the seat!! Super soft and unfortunately my kitties were too stressed to sleep on it, if I had it in the house they would have loved it!

We adopted a new puppy who likes to sit in the family bed at night to socialize before she gets in her own bed. This pretty blanket just covers the bed where she lays just in case she has an accident. Its pretty,, soft & practical. Very nice purchase.

This blanket is a huge hit with both me and my very old man cat. He took to it immediately which was an added bonus. He sleeps in it almost all of the time now. It's wonderfully fluffy and soft on both sides, and while you can feel the slippery waterproof layer in between the fluffy exterior it makes no noise, and doesn't affect how the blanket feels when you're curled in it. The fact that it's huge (I bought the queen size) is fantastic, I don't have to fight for space under it with my cat. I can confirm it is waterproof, which is fantastic - I was worried it was all talk. While the spill was small, it didn't soak through at all despite the fact that it sat for a unknown time (woke up to random wet spot on one side). It's incredibly warm, and is holding up well to constant kneeding, and drooling. Following the specific wash instructions has kept it fluffy and cuddly, and waterproof. I cannot recommend this blanket enough. It gives me confidence to leave my old man alone in my place without fear of returning to soiled furniture so long as this blanket is out.

These are amazing! I have three dogs who spend the summer either in the pool all day at home or in the lake up at the cottage. We were all tired of getting soaked every time they sat with us on the couch. I bought four of the “throw” size and three of the largest size and now we can all cuddle our wet dogs with a soft waterproof blanket/throw keeping us completely dry. We’ll use these blankets even in the winter when the dogs are usually dry because they’re so soft and fluffy and the kids love them! They wash and dry really well too!

I don’t leave reviews until I’ve had a chance to really put the item to the test, and I can honestly say after having this blanket for 1.5 years, it’s saved our furniture and beds more times then I can count! These blankets are soft, wash well, and truly are waterproof. We have a dog with bladder issues and a brand new couch…. And our couch still looks brand new because of these. They take a bit longer to dry in the dryer, but it’s not any different than any other large blanket. I’ve washed these blankets 100x already if not more and they are still doing their job. HIGHLY recommend.

I got this blanket to put on the back seat of my car for my dog. She goes swimming twice a week and I needed something that was waterproof. The water stays on the blanket and does not transfer to my car seats. The only downside is that it takes a long time to dry in the dryer, but it washes perfectly and does not hold stains.

Definitely not waterproof very disappointed spend money on something that doesn't actually stand up to what your product says
