Safari Ltd Mythical Realms Pegasus

Isn't it wonderful what people can make with today's technology. I don't think I could have gotten this wonderful pegasus for my brother at anywhere near this price a few years ago.I got this for my brother, the artist known as LETTERFLY, because his hand-drawn logo is a beautiful Pegasus. I hope he will be pleasantly surprised when it shows up at his door.<UPDATE - two days later>I wrote to my brother to ask if he had received my two packages. He wrote back today and said,> I had been wondering where those came from, (I guess he didn't see the gift note)and> I particularly like the Pegasus, this one is nicely made and I will use it for reference</UPDATE>If you'd like to see my brother's hand-drawn Pegasus and other artwork, just google "LETTERFLY" and look at all the images. There are a LOT of images.WHAT ELSE?I also ordered their Mythical Realms Phoenix and Dragon Hatchlings for myself. Both of these figures have a spiritual meaning for me. In the case of the Phoenix, we should strive to kill off our old "physically tempted" self, and rise out of the ashes to become our better selves. Similarly, the Dragon Hatchlings remind us of the actual rebirth that will be ours when we are again part of the spiritual infinity that most of us believe in, no matter what our religion. We are all babies trying to find our way upward in God's universe. I even get meaning out of other figures, for example, Beta Ray Bill, who reminds me that even a monster can eventually handle the power of God (Beta Ray Bill is able to pick up and wield Thor's hammer in the Marvel comic books).

My girls love these figures, we have a bunch of different ones and this one is no exception the quality is great. The detail is nice with no messed up paint mishaps. It has been for a bath more than once and still it is like brand new. This is one of the only Pegasus's we could find and it didn't disappoint. Will be getting a couple more for niece's:)

We ordered this pegasus as a companion to our daughter's request for a realistic unicorn toy. The other figure arrived first, so when this one arrived, it was immediately dubbed the unicorn's "sister".Our daughter is only 7 yrs old, but she is very pleased. I think the figure is gorgeous and very durable. Even it's large, detailed wings feel secure and strong. I doubt my daughter plans on any rough play with this toy, but even if she was, I think it would last. The details have the intricacies that you'd expect from a delicate porcelain figure made only for shelving and viewing, but not touching. Until you put your hands on it and realize it can definitely be handled and even played with.My daughter loves this pegasus toy and she already treasures it. There's something about a beautiful toy like this that makes a little girl want to love it more.

I just bought my second one of these for my play therapy office. The first one lasted 10 years and through hundreds of clients, meaning it was played with a lot and got cleaned constantly. I was happy I could get another one!
