Great NAS Drive, I have been using similar drives for many years, no problem till now

I had placed order for two Seagate 8TB HDD’s for my Synology NAS on 18 Oct 2020 with the assurance that it will be delivered between 31 Oct 2020 and 07 Nov 2020. Though Blumaple could not manage to deliver these in the promised time period they went out of their way to ensure I got both the HDDs in Frustration Free Packaging later with some delay. Both are working fine now. I am very happy with the excellent customer service provided by them especially one staff who interacted with me constantly keeping me updated about the status. This is a trust worthy seller on Amazon. Thank you.

I have a small home server that was using normal non-NAS hard drives. Since they are not designed to run 24*7, I decided to purchase this drive. Everything was fine at first. I formatted the drive with ext4 file system and moved almost 2.5TB of data from my other HDDs to this. Then, I moved all my server services (jellyfin, nextcloud etc ) so that they point to this new drive; and then disconnected all my other HDDs. It worked fine for the first 24hrs. Then suddenly, I was not able to access any data. When I checked, the drive was missing from the mounted drives list. I removed the drive and attempted to mount it again and that was when I heard it - Clicking sound! This highly durable drive, which was designed to run 24*7 failed in just 24 hours! All my effort wasted. I was waiting for the price of this drive to drop below 20k and it took around 4-5 months before the price actually dropped from 22k to <20k. Totally disappointed. Dont buy. Update 1: I claimed warranty for the product got it replaced within 2 weeks. The new drive is working fine since it is coming directly from seagate. Now running for almost a month and no issues.

Bought new hard drive 8tb costing 25k but did not work at all. It won't get recognized. I tried all windows,linux and mac but it won't work. Non_returnable and now i'll have to take it to a service center and see what can be done. Frustrating experience.

Dead Products Received. Return Not Available This Product. my 21,000 rupees lost

Dead in 6 months. Its so noisy in last 3 months, lost all my valuable data. It's not durable at all. IDK y so HDD so costly gets dead within months of usage. Try WD, seagate is not a brand to trust
