I was surprised at the quality considering it was only $12. I turn it on for 15 minutes during my morning coffee routine. Unexpected complications and obstructions from my daughter’s void kitty who loves it and gets upset once it shuts off. It fits perfectly in the case for my Bose headphones which I was using to store spare cords. I hate the sun and going outside, so hopefully this will help with mood.

I’m very surprised that this actually works. I’ve always had trouble sleeping and when my doctor suggested I have a sleeping disorder I decided to do what I can to help correct that. Research suggested I use this to help correct my circadian rhythm. I wake up before the sun comes out and can’t get that “sunlight within an hour of waking” that’s suggested so this light provides that. I’ve noticed on days that I use it I do wake up easier and stay awake easier. It get very bright!! It’s lightweight and portable. It’s also very affordable. I highly recommend trying this if you struggle with sleeping or waking up.

The overall brightness and size of the lamp is perfect. My only complaint is that I have to unlug and plug in each time I want to turn it on. Seems if I just leave it plugged in it won't turn on again after it's run through the timer. I have tried this multiple times not and same thing.

I've had this for several years now. I bought a portable style light for work but this is still the best. It works as good as my giant bulky medical grade light did. 1) you should be using it at full brightness, 2) start at 15 mins and work your way up every couple days till you find your sweet spot (mine is 30 in fall and 45 in Jan/Feb), 3) with any light therapy the position relative to your face is important. I just watch vids or read while I use it. It takes about 3 days to feel large effect as half of the problem with SAD is disrupted sleep cycles. It takes a few days to start catch up with quality sleep. Now that I know I get affected I start in late Sept. Your living location might vary. Or if you are night shift I use it for your equivalent morning time. (I usually do about 10-11am during my break if at work).

This item died before 6 months was up. Spoke to customer service with company not Amazon. They wanted me to spend my money to ship it back to them to replace it. I felt like that was very unfair Since Amazon has free drop off sites. So I never got a replacement Since I couldn't afford to ship it to them as a disabled widow. I've never complained on a review before. Although I feel others should know what the customer service with this company is like. Despite you purchasing it from Amazon. I used it daily for allotted time only. Never did drop it or anything the light just became real dim inside and you could see it on when it was off at night. Even though it just completely stopped turning on at all. It will be a year purchased in August it's been dead since e the beginning of the year. Not great customer service in my opinion.

I’ve had this light for a full year now, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorite purchases. I bought it in October 2024 and started using it right away during my early morning coffee routine. I keep it on the side table while I relax around 4 AM, and even 15 minutes a day makes a noticeable difference. Sometimes I leave it on longer while finishing my coffee either way, it sets a great tone for the day. I started using it again early this year (October 2025) because I remembered how much it improved my mood last winter. I’ve also been working on improving my vitamin D levels which have always been low and I truly believe that combining this light with my Micro Ingredients D3 + K2 supplement has helped me beat the winter blues. The light has held up perfectly after a year. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and the quality still feels brand new. Some reviewers mentioned it gets hot, but I haven’t noticed that at all. One note: the controls are touch-style, not physical buttons, but they’re responsive and easy to use. Overall: A+ for price, design, and performance. I only use it in the winter, but I have no doubt it would last through daily use year-round. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make dark mornings a little brighter! Sometimes with products like this, you wonder if they really work or if it’s just in your head. This light truly mimics natural sunlight and I have proof! On the same table sits my 20-year-old MOVA rotating globe, which only spins when exposed to real sunlight. It hasn’t rotated in years because it’s too far from a window. But when I turn on this therapy lamp, the globe starts moving again a clear sign this light really does replicate the power of the sun.

3 stars because it stopped working after about 8 months. But when it worked, I was very happy with it. Light-weight, portable, bright. It's inexpensive so I just bought another one when the first one died, but that's obviously not ideal.

My husband stands in front of it like a lizard in the morning. Personally I hate it but it seems to make him happy.

It's become my every morning routine! 30 mins within 1 hour from waking, 30-50cm from your eyes, not looking directly at it. It can plug in with any cell phone type c, but it comes with a nice long cable.

I've been very happy with this. Definitely lifted my energy levels in winter
