Excellent headlamp but not a true type c device
Very comfortable to wear extremely wide angle light source. Long lasting battery usb-c passthrough type. Unfortunately the USB c plug is not complete. It will not charge from a proper USBC port only from a usbA port.To clarify it will only charge from typeA to typec plug. Does not charge from a type-c port with a type c to type c cable without adding an extra adapter. However the light itself can be directly powered from USBC cable&portThe battery will not charge from a quality type c plugDon't let this discourage you this is an awesome light.

Bought it by Accident
I was looking for the Light Bar head lamp and thought I had ordered a Light Bar.i didn't realize ot wasn't the one I wanted until I couldn't find a setting that the Light Bar has. (only the LEDs directly on the front Light up so if you are in a group you don't blind the people besides you.)But I have used the LiteBand united I really like it. It's Light and puts out a lot of light and you can see very clearly. The best thing is that you have your hands free!!!The only thre things that I would change is:1. Move the Red light mode to be the first light you get. The way it is now, you lose your nightvision when you turn on the light.2. I may have gotten a bad battery pack but it only last about 3 hours on high.3. Something that I should have thought about is, for people who wear glasses, the light can shine into your glasses and reflect back into your eyes and blind you. A small reflective strip that could shield it just a little would make all of the difference. To get around this I just wear a hat and then the light. Cuts out the glare but also cuts out the area close in front of me..So I'm back looking down to see what is directly in front of me just like I had to do with the old style head lamps. All in all it a good Light. The LeDs are in a good rubber waterproof housing and the battery seems to be sealed good also.It wasn't a bad mistake at all.

I love this thing! My go-to flashlight
Charges quickly with a USB-C plugged into a wall socket, a red LED signals it's charging. Charging port is covered a rubber seal so is protected from the elements. Battery can be disconnected from the light strip to prevent accidental activation and battery drain. Multiple lighting modes work well (though I usually go full blast) and toggle with one button push. Button has a click which is quite responsive. I have a big head (size 8 hat) and the elastic band fits easily around it. Only draw back is that the battery is understandably heavy so running with it might be cumbersome. For daily use (trimming the nails of a sleeping cat in the dark), two thumbs up.

Comfortable and bright
In the winter, my evening dog walks are in the dark. Holding a flashlight in my hand to pick up poops was getting annoying, and in my search for a head mounted light, I found this style of head mounted light. This was my second product to give a try as the first one died fairly quickly. While I got this to help with walking the dogs, i've found various other uses for it along the way.I really like the spread of the light. I don't have to position my head or fiddle with the light to get the light to shine where I need it to. With the light spread, I can look around without having to move my head so much.I have a large head and this easily fits it. The battery on the back is a little awkward but I get used to it pretty quickly. What's really nice is the battery connects to the light via USB-C with a standard connection, so any battery with a USB-C cable will work fine. I have portable packs that will fit in the elastic strap holding the battery so I'm not tied down to the included battery. This is great because you're not left with a dead device if the battery dies.Speaking of the battery, it does have a flaw. There's no indicators on it. So while charging, you get no charging status. I've just been trusting that if I plug it in overnight, I get a good amount of time to use it before the next charge.Overall, this is a great light. It's comfortable. It's versatile. And it's usable. Definitely worth the price.

Here Comes the Sun King
I bought the Liteband Activ 400 for my son - for his Boy Scout camping/hiking trips. It comes with a rechargeable battery and has several settings - a range of brightness, flashing and red. The spectrum is perfect for his needs - covering any situation he might find himself in while outward bound for several days at a time. For example... * bright - night hike, caving, locating a lost item around his campsite * mid - setting up camp, meal prep * low - locating an item inside his tent, being identifiable by other campers in relative close proximity * flashing - being identified from a distance if he’s gotten separated * red - if he’s in a hazardous situation or in need of helpOut of all of the equipment that I have bought him over the years, a new headlamp seems to be the most recurring. Hard to say what he does w/ them. I just know that they don’t seem to work very long, stay intact nor cover all of his needs.Key to this utility is its comfort and reliability. He’s reported and I have verified through my own use that the LiteBand is quite comfortable- you hardly notice it. Furthermore, the construct seems quite durable and the design reduces the risk of breaking. Unlike the typical headlamp that is designed like a unicorn - w/ the light protruding from the forehead and bounces around w/ movement, the light source is flush to the band, so there’s no protruding bouncing object to constantly putz (sic) w/ nor BREAK. It’s really a great design. He’s already put it to the test twice - on both a dry and wet weekend, and he loves it. In his own words, “it’s like having a setting sun at my back at all times!”.What more could ask of such an important utility to accompany him away from home and out in the wild.Nice work, LiteBand.Yours,Father of a bonafide Sun King

Great
lightweight, fairly bright… (should have gone for the brighter version) but it’s bright enough for the tasks, and last all night if needed 👍🏽👍🏽

Nice headlamp... if you want a disposable one
Some of the comments say it's not bright enough. Well it's not a searchlight and not meant to be. Plenty bright enough for what it's meant to do. If you're looking to illuminate a golf course or search from a helicopter it's not for you. It's very light, surprisingly comfortable and appears to be pretty well built with decent materials. Only reasons it's not a 5 star is because the USB cover won't stay closed so worried about weather resilience, also for me too many modes... high, low and red would be sufficient. Don't like having to scroll through each mode. And lastly it's a little pricey for what it is but if it lasts it'll be worth it****UPDATE****Really liked this light, recommended it to friends who purchased it. I've used it about 35 times, unfortunately the mode/on/off button has pretty much stopped working all together. It was finicky to begin with but I had marked that up to user error (thought I was pressing too long or not long enough), and now I'm lucky to get it to turn on or off at all. Pressing, holding, short time, long time... doesn't matter. Have to play with the button for a while and hope it will work. As for customer service... can't comment as they haven't contacted me back... multiple times and weeks. For the price, I do not recommend.

My friends made fun of me
I can not see it myself but everyone looking back at me gets a good chuckle at the space age looking lights lined across my forehead. That aside, it works well and is bright. Seems to provide a blanket of light for a range out to 30 feet or so but doesn't peer into the distance like a spotlight would. At first I found the battery pack a little bulky on the back of my head but it was quick to get used to. I also like the fact I can put it on my head one handed, leveraging the battery pack on the back and sliding the front over my forehead. Battery life is good. Took it remote camping for a week and didn't have to recharge it while away. Overall, happy with purchase.

Big Battery Pack
This product is really bright and lives up to the hype. The angle of light spreads out quite far into your peripheral!I did not expect it to come with a brick battery. The headband has a sleeve in the back where the battery fits into. While it is off putting and unexpected, my husband still kept it because the light quality was so good.

Good light for close work
There are two features that I really like 1) the diffuse, wide angle illumination is excellent for working with your hands in cramped spaces, and 2) the connection between the lamp and the battery has a standard USB-C connector which means you can replace the provided battery with any USB battery.A disadvantage is that due to the big battery, it's heavy compared with ultralight headlamps like those made for running. The battery on the back of the headband tends to pull the headband down. However, thanks to the USB-C connector, you could replace the stock battery with a smaller one or use a long USB-C cable and have the battery off the headband.
