Once again Greg has put a book right on the actual wavelength of an entrepreneur.Rather than unhelpful tax accounting talk, Greg understands the mind of the business owners and seeks to use numbers to make actual business decisions.His concepts outlined for capital allocation is spot on for thinking about what is actually happening in a business. Many businesses have to lay out capital in previous periods for growth and are unable to quantify returns until later periods. Greg lays out some great examples in how to analyze and think through this.If you are an entrepreneur who views your business as the most important investment of your financial life, then this book and deeply digesting Greg’s simple number concepts is a MUST!

I loved Crabtree's first book so much that I probably purchased 10 or more books just to send to my entrepreneur friends. This 2nd book is even better! It dives into the one topic I found the most useful from his first book, which is the Labor Efficiency Ratios. The ability to scale a business often depends on the financial strength of the company and its revenue sources, this book gives you the playbook to make that happen. Highly recommend this book for anyone in business.
