Love the built in functionality
This is a great little device! The functionality with Chrome OS is getting better. I think this device works perfectly and the only gripe I have is that the cap will come unscrewed sometimes and then the clip will spin. That drives me nuts, but the functionality of being able to write notes and have the tablet not recognize my palm is key!Have and will recommend this to friends and family!

Smooth Use and Easy to Hold - Acer Chomebook Spin 713 (CP713-3W-5102)
Bought an Acer Chromebook Spin 713, model CP713-3W-5102. There is scant info online about whether or not this laptop is even compatible with a stylus. It is frustrating because even the Acer site doesn't say anything one way or another. Even though this listing does say it is compatible, you aren't crazy for questioning it because even reviews at CNET, ChromeUnboxed, PCMag, et at, do not mention using a stylus. Some complain one is not included, but no info is given. So rest assured, this pen works with the Spin 713.First impressions:Having used the Google Pixelbook Pen and the Samsung S-Pen, the former being really fat and the latter being more like a pencil, this is in the sweet spot right between. It is thicker than a Bic or a Biro, maybe by about a couple millimetres. I have large hands, so it fits nice for me. On my tablet, I used Chrome Canvas and found it very responsive with no lag. The lines do adjust for pressure. I have attached some quick artwork that you can put on your refrigerator.I did not have any problems with my palm being on the tablet while using it. I was able to write and draw as if I were doing so in real life.Comes with a AAAA battery and an extra nib. I wish there were a little vinyl case or something with this. That extra nib is going to get lost most likely. I haven't the foggiest where to order more nibs, as I'd like to just have them. However, iPlume said in November 2020 that they will offer nibs "in the future" on Amazon. So you might have to go off brand if you want to get replacements. This particular pen, purchased October 2021, does not have buttons on it. So there is no erase capability. There was no set up for the pen, my device recognised it immediately.I am fine with it thus far. I will use it to mark manuscripts and do photo editing work. I literally received it today, so that is about all I can report.

Stopped working correctly after 2 years
After 2 years, it works on and off. I've replaced the battery so that is not the issue.

Replacement Tips Please
I ordered this stylus June 5th 2021 Today is July 7th 2021. I absolutely was loving this stylus, the accuracy and touch are excellent. Feel is great (the physical pen). It was a replacement for the Lenovo USI stylus, which would engage my screen on my Lenovo Duet about a quarter of an inch before actually touching the screen. With the iplume, this issue was eliminated. The reason this is not 5 stars is that the tip wore out in about 30 days. Granted I was using it a lot for a drawing I was doing, but still, that is quick. They provided a second tip, which is nice. It's so small I lost it within 2 days....This is not a problem with iPlume, this is a user error and I am fine with that. What is a problem is I can't' get any replacement tips for this stylus. So I have a great piece of gear that is just sitting there. Do i need to buy another stylus?***Update, I got in touch with iPlume and the helped me get replacement tips for my stylus. Thank you! While i was waiting for the replacement tips, i bought another one exactly the same because it was working so well for me. So I bumped this up to 5 Stars

Does exactly what it is supposed to!
With the last minute dash of Chromebooks for distance learning, I didn't want to spend a small fortune on one that had a stylus. We ended up grabbing a cheaper one from HP that supported USI. Most of these stylus have been sold out in the US and cost twice as much, but I saw this one available here on Amazon. I was a bit nervous with no reviews and a brand I have never heard of. But I took the plunge knowing if it didn't work right, Amazon would have our back. We've had the iPlume USI Stylus a few days now and it hasn't disappointed us. Right out of the box it worked great. It comes with the AAAA battery and an extra tip. The pen also attached to our Chromebook magnetically which is a plus.At the end of the day this stylus does everything it promised for us and my son is enjoying using it to draw on his Chromebook and working on handwriting without a million sheets of paper laying around.

Quality not as good as you'd get from a manufacturer's USI stylus
If you're here looking for a USI stylus for your Chromebook -- maybe you picked up a Lenovo Duet but Lenovo's out of stock on their USI stylus, or similarly you picked up an HP Chromebook and HP's out of stock on their USI stylus -- do yourself a favor and just wait. Buy your manufacturer's USI stylus even if that means paying a little bit more than this. The iPlume will work in a pinch, but comes with some long-term durability concerns. The plastic nib sticks out quite a ways from the iPlume's barrel and, in my experience, this meant the stylus bends a bit when used. You can get used to this, but I worried how durable this would be in the long run. Perhaps a second generation of the iPlume could include a collar to support the nib rather than the barrel of the stylus ending so abruptly leaving too much of the nib exposed and bendable.

Five star USI stylus with one exception
Like many who have USI compatible Chromebooks, I have been looking all over for USI stylus. I'm glad that I finally found the iPlume stylus. I bought two, one for myself to use with my Lenovo Chromebook Duet and one for my daughter to use with her Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5. She's taking classes online like many other students and has a lot of homework that is done digitally. I can say that the stylus works perfectly with both Chromebooks. The only exception is the buttons. One is for erasing and the other for selecting text and neither works. I'm not sure if this is something that I can fix or if this is on Lenovo's end. In any case, I'm glad that I was able to get my hands on this stylus.

Works fine for a novice stylus user
Low profile buttons can be hard to easily locate. No real information provided as to what functions the buttons provide or if they can be customized when using Chromebook in tablet mode. Note that I am not an experienced stylus user, other than occasionally using a third party "dumb" touch stylus.
