Hooray!
Poached eggs without losing egg white! Love these little gadgets!!! Extra-large eggs 6 mins, will use 5.5 mins next time. Coconut oil brushed inside pods, plopped in an extra-large egg, placed in simmering water, covered the pan, set timer; topped with pepper and some Parmesan cheese. I bought the gadget to lift them out because my hands are not so steady around hot liquid LOL! It works great.Aug 28, '19 ADD: Used these several more times. Enjoying beautifully poached eggs so much, I am ordering another set so I can enjoy 3 eggs at a time...will be perfect for dinner. 6 mins perfect as 3 cold eggs cools the simmering water a bit.

Perfect poached eggs everytime!
This is the easiest and neatest way to poach eggs that we have ever tried. Six minutes and eggs are perfect. We found the little tool for putting in and pulling out of pan to be very handy and it avoids burned fingers.

Cute and works easily, but slightly uneven cooking.
I like these things a lot more than I anticipated! They make poaching an egg incredibly easy. They're adorable! And I can't wait to use them to make other treats. To get a good release, I spray the inside with oil first (I happen to use coconut, but I'm sure any oil spray will work), then run a knife along the edge before flipping the pod out to release the egg. I will also note that the darker opaque pod cooks slower than the lighter pod. I'll also note that I like my eggs moderately runny, and cook the eggs for 6 to 8 minutes in covered simmering water.

Awesome product!
Highly recommend this! Easy to clean, easy to use, and they look so pretty! Trying to cook a poached egg without these is a nightmare.

tidy poached eggs
its ok, but a little awkward. Main thing is you have to put butter in it every time you use it and if you have 2 pods and want to do 4l eggs then you poach 2, and then you do 2 more, you have to put butter in between. Also, unless you have the holder, they're awkward to extract from the boiling water. However they do make nice, tidy, poached eggs.

Eggs cooked unevenly and look ugly
The pods are very, very buoyant. I've found that this means the bottom of the egg gets overcooked while the top is undercooked even with a lid on the pot, and the eggs stick to the pods despite greasing them.If you like your poached eggs cooked hard, then this would probably work for you, but I couldn't manage to cook the top of the egg that sits out of the water, without totally overcooking the bottom.I'd also like to note, that I don't think this makes poaching an older egg possible because the yolk sinks to the bottom of the cup and overcooks while the runny white seems watery and underdone - ew!They don't look anything like a traditional poached egg, either. As when using an egg poacher, it's obvious you 'cheated'. I think the uniform smooth shape is ugly compared to a traditionally poached, wavy egg white.Once I learned to poach an egg ( it only took me one messed up batch of eggs) I realized this is way more hassle than just slipping some fresh eggs in a pot.

Works Perfectly.
Perfect Poached Egg every time. Just rub a drop of olive oil inside pod, add raw egg, boil water, reduce to medium, gently drop pod, cover, cook 5 minutes. Done. Perfect every time, no messing around with slotted spoons, no runaway bits of egg, easy clean up.

Could not even get them apart!
I had bought PoachPods before and they are a heavy silicone, they stand up fine even with up to a jumbo egg in it. I bought another set but a different brand and they were OK but thinner and they rolled over at a slight touch when on the counter. I figured these were "PoachPod" brands and decided to try a different color. These are thinner than the other brand and were melted together - I could not even get them apart! Don't waste your money; pay more for the original which I don't even see on the site now. Find them somewhere else.
