Ordered 2 through Amazon and both were chipped and scratched terribly. I just decided to install it with the issues and repair it, so it didn't hold up my project. Would not recommend this for anything except a boat anchor...

Shipping Damage, Low quality tub.
Ordered a Kona through my plumber. Arrived dented with chipped enamel and warped flanges. My understanding is that enameled steel tubs, especially low end ones, often arrive damaged because they don't do well with bumps and drops. This seems to me to be a low end tub with thin steel, thin enamel, and funky texture on the bottom. There are a couple of other steel tubs but they are hard to find (and probably to return). One is the Briggs Biscay and the other is the American Standard MacKenzie, which is discontinued. The Kohler Seaforth (cast iron) looks nice but at a very high price. In acrylic there are the Lyons tubs and Delta Styla (Lowes). I'd love to find a good steel tub that I could return if damaged in shipping but no luck in finding.Update 1-1-16: I ended up buying the Kohler Seaforth and just had it installed. This tub is overpriced and way more than I wanted to spend but in the end I didn't want to take a chance on one of the low end alternatives that might have to be prematurely replaced at considerable trouble and expense. The Seaforth is very nice but if you can use a standard sized tub, the Villager is half the price and about as nice.

Bathtub cracks
I bought a Bootz bathtub from the home depot 3 years ago and it cracked. The bathtub cracked a few months later from the bottom left hand side. It caused a $5000 damage because I couldn't tell if the water was leaking below it. Don't buy this cheap stuff and buy a "brand" bathtub such as American Standard or Kholer. I learned my lesson and I'm passing my experience to you.
