Like how this cover gives you added lighting at the rear of my truck. The chevy bow tie logo in the light, gives it a nice look.

Good idea, could use a little more features
This is a pretty nice product. It is made of plastic and requires a foam "filler pad" in order for it to sit in the hitch properly (other wise there is a 1/2 inch gap and it can raddle around). The only thing I don't like about it is that it only comes on when there is power to the left tail light (turn signal, running lights, or brake light). Basically this means that there are only 2 wires to it, ground and the left signal wire. I would have liked to see it come on for either signal which would mean it would need a total of 3 wires. Other than that, I love the product and would definitely order another one.

Updated: good but cord needs to be longer
Update: (11/11/21 Happy Veteran's Day to all Veterans) From 5star to 4 star. I've had this for over 3 years now and the bulb went out sometime in the last year as it still worked after 2 years & 3 months according to my last review. I have liked this tail light but the cord is definitely too short. I have to take off my license plate to get it on their but that's my truck's issue not the light but again it is still too short b/c you should be able to not stretch it to it's limit. Have to order a replacement bulb for it. It was easy to pop off the cover and replace. Will update and take photo when I get the replacement bulb in. I still recommend this tail light!Just bought it recently and put it on same day on my 2018 Chevy Colorado. Took maybe 5min. It BARELY was long enough to be plugged in but it worked. So far I love it! Looks good! It works when the brakes are pressed. I do recommend this product!Update: 2 years and 3 months later it still works!

The wires are not long enough.
Worked need to be longer so that you can tuck them away so anyone can’t see them. They’re way too short and have to be plugged in on the exterior of the bumper. I won’t even us mine bc of this. I like a clean looking vehicle with no wires showing.

Nice hitch plug
Got this for our daughters truck, after she seen ours in our truck and the fact it lights up when the brakes are applied she wanted to get one for hers so she’s getting this as a stocking stuffer for Christmas.
