Those with an active life and over 50 get this stuff.
I just started taking BCAA and read some reviews and notices some problems with disinformation. ALL MEDICATION IS TAKEN ACCORDING TO WEIGTH and perceived symptoms or lack their of. Start low 1 pill on full stomach then fine your tipping point or you might experience stomach problems. Example if over 200 or their a-bouts take 1 to start with meals (another key for start-up). Two is observation see how the body responds. Third If you decide to increase consider the amount of meat you or eating or the veggies etc. THIS IS A KEY in determining the amount you take. Questions to ask how ya feel during the day plot it. Now go out and don't be stupid. I will follow my own advice and report back in 2 to 3 weeks May 19/13 post. Work up to 3 per day but ONLY WITH MEALS as the time release theory works gently.UPDATE. More than happy with Amazon and this product.WOW! BAM! POP! Yes another Baby-Boomer. This is great stuff. Just retired and a gym-bum my workout took on a new level of pain and recovery that kept me out of the gym for a week, now 2 days. This does not include cardio. While I addressed my Amino's thought food I discovered this supplement combination the best product combination. BCAA & L-Arginine/L-Citrulline is a great combo. Go easy on the start up of this product it is strong stuff. This combination cut my recovery time in half and eased my NERVE pain as well as the muscle tissue. The L-Arginine/L-Citrulline is a vaso-dilator so it this helps with all heart & vascular problems, plaque build up, etc. Yes from ED to eye health I believe these Amino's are a must have for everyone. BE SURE TO START SLOWLY & READ up on your medical problems and how this will effect you before you start this product. GET INVOLVED IN YOU HEALTH AND USE THE PHYSICIAN AS A CONSULT. They will drug you to death.

Still goin'!
The recommended dosage is 4 pills with each meal. Having never taken anything like this I opted to go with 2 to see how things went. After several hours I developed extreme abdominal pain that turned out to be gas. I'm not certain if it was caused directly by the BCAA's or the small helping of beans I had at dinner. Either way I would tell folks to start out with a smaller than recommended dosage. You want to find out how it affects you first before continuing.My mental state also differs while taking this product and after a Google search so do others. I wouldn't call them mood swings but rather mood dips. It seems like I get sad easily and my mind wanders more. After this realization I've cut my use back to only the days I work out (Mon, Wed, Fri). From what I've read this doesn't happen to everyone but I thought it worth mentioning.Taking this product helped my stamina in the gym a great deal! My workout times went from about 50 minutes to 1 1/2 hrs.The only time I've gotten sore taking this product is when I've consumed a lot of sugar throughout the day. I normally try to stick with a low carb diet as I want to keep my weight under control!This has been the first product that I've tried since high school (many moons ago fyi). But truth be told between the stamina and the soreness I think it's a worthwhile product.

Good stuff, red face
I don't know why people who buy supplements have such a hard time putting sentences together. Every review I've read for this product and others like it are like reading badly translated Greek. So far I've taken the product for 3 days. The first day I just took it before the workout. I spend 45mins on weight training and run 1 mile 6 days a week. When I finished my mile, my face was so red it matched my red hat. I get red sometimes after running but this was like a half hour long Niacin rush. The second time I ran a mile, it wasn't as bad though. I have noticed much quicker recovery times between sets at the gym and I've noticed more energy while jogging. As far as I can tell, its doing its job but only time will really tell. I will update the review after the bottle is gone if anything changes.

Best Mix out there!
Best Mix out there! And glad that it is reasonably priced. I have gone through the entire gambit of Amino Acid chains, since I started exploring health nutrition in my early 20's. Now that I'm almost 40, and back to 'getting in the best shape of my life' (at least for this age) again, I can say that this mix by TwinLabs has by far showed me the best results of adds, builds, and recovery out of any of the others. I have gone from the cheap-processed stuff in Japan (that floats on water- no really); to the designer stuff at GNC. Overall, I will undoubtedly stay with this mix; especially at price point and results. Thanks for showing the rest of them what right looks like!

Fantastic for pre-workout, post, and "hungry" in between meals.
Noticeable difference after work (I'm on a 9-5 desk jockey) when I don't have dinner yet, to take 3-4 capsules then go to the gym. Post workout, pre, and during (if possible) has been fantastic. Its not a "upper," rather, I recover quicker and "activate" energy quicker. So, this means, I don't take this and get energy, more like, a accentuate of when I actually get moving towards physical activity. This is my first BCAA foray, so, I can't comment on the product vs others. However, its cheap, and effective.

Average BCAA
There are better BCAA's out there. I personally recommend a powder unless you enjoy taking handfuls of pills... This to me was something I kept in my car for when I was on the go and wanted to keep my muscles in an anabolic state. Convenience is great, and I know it's doing something for me, but I will keep these in my car for on the go purposes only.

Makes a difference on a diet
I'm trying to loose a LOT of weight without loosing a lot of lean body mass. After Zone diet weight losses of about 75% fat and 25% lean body mass, it appears that supplementing the diet with roughly half the quantity of pills that Twinlabs recommends I was able to begin, slowly recovering lean body mass while still on the diet. Adding a bicycle ride to my daily routine helped too.Your Mileage May Vary, but I think this is good stuff.
