These are polyester satin, not natural silk
The fabric is satin or synthetic polyester, not mulberry or natural silk. I should have known given the price, but it’s fine for regular satin pillowcases. Synthetic fabrics don’t breathe. I returned for an easy refund.

Not soft and silky
I was looking for silk pillowcases for my hair and skin.I bought these because their description stated 100% silk and although they look nice they are not soft and silky, not quite sure what kind of 100% silk these are. They are thick, heavy, stiff and scratchy, definitely not soft and silky. It's the kind of fabric that if you have dry hands they stick/snag to the fabric, that weird icky feeling.I have another set of pillowcases that are (supposedly) not a better quality of silk and my hair loves them better.I have very fine hair and these pillowcases tangle and are drying my hair out.Hope this helps you in making your decision.

Very well made, but not natural silk
At first sight, I had my doubts that these are natural silk. The packaging say 100% mulberry silk and the tags says100% silk, these pillowcases are neither. However, these pillowcases are very well made. Too bad this is not natural silk. My 14 year old loves the color so I have decided to keep them. I even did the burn test and it got hard, smelled of plastic and then caught fire and burned away quickly, not anything like my silks. Great price and workmanship, worth the price, but definately not natural silk. Please correct the labelling so others are not dissappointed.

Overall a great value.
I checked out all the prices and styles for real silk pillowcases before I purchased these which were reasonably priced. They are soft and silky. Your face and hair are definitely pampered when you sleep on these pillowcases. They wash up nice. The only downside is they have a seam on one end of one side of the pillowcase about 4 inches from the edge. You can see this on the pictures of the item. This black seam is uncomfortable to sleep on.

Not convinced that these are silk!
I purchased these on sale in a large quantity for a local convalescent home that my grandmother lives in. i’ve owned silk pillowcases in the past and these feel a little different. they have a cotton like texture but kind of look like polyester. they are not as soft as I was expecting. I’m not 100% convinced that they are silk. out of the approximately 50 packages that I purchased several of them have come apart at the seams already.i am not highly impressed with these.I probably would not purchase them again even at the Low price of $12 I paid.

Doubtful silk but affordable option
This is NOT silk. It is silky satin. The tag and package note silk. But I’m doubtful. Soft to the touch though. Inexpensive option. But I could never be convinced it’s real silk.

I love the softness
They are true to the color. The fit has a pocket that doesn't really work to stay closed because of the softness of the fabric but they stay on the pillow anyway. I would buy them again. My hair seems better from sleeping on them. Not so tangled and frizzy.

NOT 100% Mulberry Silk - they are polyester.
Everywhere on this listing, title, description, images and on the product packaging and hang tags, it states: 100% Mulberry Silk or 100% Silk. These pillowcases are 100% thick polyester, with a satin "feel".Returned.
