Tasty, a great all purpose (gluten sensitivity)
Having heard that some gluten sensitivity is due to the way wheat is grown and processed in the U.S., I was interested in trying some imported flour, to see the effect. And since then, I've been baking and cooking up a storm! Well, a little one. I've made cupcakes, pies, and pizza with this, and they all turned out great. The cupcakes were surprisingly more dense than I was expecting, but not overly so, and they were moist and delicious. The pie was wonderful and flaky, and the pizza had a good chew, though it felt somewhat less stiff than I remember, back when I used to make pizza from scratch. (I guess I had forgotten what a real pizza crust felt like 😅).As to this being gluten free, it is not. Reading the package, it is actually a high gluten flour, so those with celiac disease or wheat allergies would likely still have symptoms. But if you, like me, have a sensitivity to gluten with no clear cause, changing your wheat to something like this just might be the ticket to allowing you to enjoy wheat based goodies again. Now, the bags are small, (5lb combined) and compared to what you can buy locally, this is expensive. But for a special occasion, or special recipes, this might be a game changer for you. The quality is definitely worth it.

Love love love this flour for sourdough!!!
This is the absolute best flour for making sourdough. The texture of cooked bread is so smooth and soft with nice tension when shaping. It’s expensive but worth it if making for an event of gifting to friends/family… or even if you just want yup enjoy one of the best loaves you’ll ever make.

Great flour free of US Glysophate poison
I was forced many years ago to go GF due to growing intolerance to glysophate exposure in American Wheat. When I learned that glysophate (aka Round^) was banned in Europe and Italy, I decided to take a chance on Italian produced wheat with great results. I LOVE baking and found the GF flours to be too much of a hassle with frustrating results and consistency. This wheat flour has made it possible for me to get back to what I love, baking.

Good product and fast service.
My wife swears by this flour. She says that since it doesn't contain all the additives put in our flour it's better for us and the food actually tastes better.

Great flour with wheat grown in Italy
I’m really happy to find this flour on Amazon. It’s important that all my baked goods are made from flour with a wheat grown in Italy where it’s safe.

Light Blue bag Caputo is best! By far my favorite
When I make my bread this is my flour of choice. It is a bit pricy for the amount you get but I have flawless results every time I use it.I’ve tried 3 other Italian flours and I keep coming back to this one. It’s getting to a point that our food has a large amount of additives. My bread recipe is 2.5 cups of flour, live yeast, 2T of olive oil (get the best you can) and 1tsp salt. That’s it! I know what’s in it & that makes me happy :)I’m sure it would be great for pizza crust too, I just haven’t tried that yet.
