Datin Metal Fabrication Truck Bed Side Molle Pannel (6')

I finally got a chance to install these this weekend. I installed this on a 2021 ZR2 with less than 2000 miles. The install process was straightforward and you have multiple options for hardware. I am a bit picky, and when I ordered this system I was skeptical of how well it would work. Normally I would just make my own, but these were cheap enough and well built enough that it was a no brainer.At first I found the install process a bit finicky. I was trying to find a measurement point on the truck that I could reference to ensure everything was in the right place. However, I quickly found that wasn't going to happen. The mounting hardware will not be centered in all of the mounting locations by the time you are done adjusting the panel. This is not fault to the product. It's just the way it is. Nevertheless, when I quit trying to make it "perfect" by measurement standards and just focused on "if it looks straight it is straight" then the install was simple. The first one I monkeyed with for about 45 minutes...but the second was on in less than 15 minutes.For the second one, I installed the hardware in the center of each mounting point as best I could. I fit the panel and shifted everything to look good. Then I tightened the stop center down. Then I started to fit the top, then the bottom bolts. Using a stubby wrench I was able to tighten everything snug so it wouldn't move. Then I took the panel off one last time and snugged everything up. I used some black silicone that matched my bedliner to seal up any gaps. I have a shell on the back so I didn't want duct getting in.They look great, and I'm pleasantly surprised with how sturdy they are. I'm going to fab up some mounts to hold a few two gallon Rotopax cans on each side.

I'm using this panel in a forward bed location on my 1st gen Tundra. I can now attach traction boards. The panel fits well, is light and strong with a good powder coat black wrinkle finish. Good job Datin!
