LDR Extra Toilet Paper Holder Brushed Nickel Finish

Don’t get my wrong, it’s pretty looking. However I get Charmin Extra Soft and these kinda “squish” the extra big rolls. Maybe for other brands it’s fine? But I regret not getting a bigger size. This leaves dents in the TP and it’s terribly difficult to get the rolls out of the holder when they don’t fit correctly. :/ you pretty much have to scrap at least the first two “winds” of any TP you use with this.

It looked fine and seemed sturdy, (hence the 4 stars), but you can't squeeze in the size of rolls many companies sell now. I should have read the description more carefully because it does mention it there (also why 4 stars instead of lower). Despite the width is 6.2, the actual usable diameter is 4.5 inches which is found in the description below the main product details. I thought I could still squeeze the rolls in like I can with my other one that has a similar shape and diameter (and I don't have any issues with that one), but due to the way this one is made it didn't work. The vertical connecting rods stick out sharply and the edges catch the sides of the rolls, tearing the outside layers. The rolls also got caught at the top while pulling them out, making it overall difficult to use unless you only get small toilet paper rolls.

The finish and quality of the product is fine, but it will not hold the thicker ply rolls. If you buy anything larger than the old school rolls, you're out of luck.

The color does not look like a brushed nickel at all. I have it on the other side of the toilet so no one will see it. It is made sturdy. It does not match any of my brushed nickel in my bathroom. If you want true brush nickel do not purchase this product

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing this product. The holder will only hold your cheap, crappy standard sized toilet paper rolls. We do not use those in this household, its a waste of money. So buyer beware, if you use double or triple sized rolls you just bought this for nothing.

I bought this because the description says it fits double rolls (which everything is now, let’s be honest) but they do NOT fit so I had to send it back. I use Costco’s Kirkland brand TP.

I usually buy Sams Club size Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper and this holds those rolls perfectly. Sams was out of my Charmin last time, so I bought Members Mark toilet paper which has Mega rolls. The Mega rolls are too large for this TP holder. It is a good quality for smaller rolls.
