Thorntons Chocolate Classic Dark Collection 262g

Bought for a gift, this box of chocolates was a great disappointment. The chocolates should have been very dark, very smooth and very shiny. They were, instead, various shades of grey, and with a matt surface texture. In the mouth they felt unpleasant and rough, a sensation that gave the impression that, for the purpose of pleasure, which is surely what chocolates are all about, these were inedible. Return was easy and the refund came immediately. A pity for Thornton's, as I suspect the problem is poor handling and storage by the supplier.

Delivery was fine but the chocolates had a greyish bloom . I did taste them and they far below standard and had an unfortunate affect on my digestive system . As advised, they can not be retuned so therefore I would like my money back and I will dispose of the chocolates safely.An early response will be appreciated .

Bought 2 boxes of Thorntons Dark Chocolates to be given as gifts.Missed the returns windows .Was very shocked when I was told the gift was totally unacceptable, chocolates all melted and stuck to the lid, all the centre's gone. Looked as though they had been left in heat and then chilled. Unable to eat any so had to throw away.I have emailed the suppliers to let them know they are selling extremely sub standard products but to date haven't received any response.

Disappointed, chocolates almost tasted the same and didn't seem like dark chocolate.Won't buy again.

Loved that I found dark chocolate my diabetic friend can eat. Great value for money, attractively packed

I bought this product for my mum on her birthday as she loves Thornton’s dark Continental chocolates, to start with there was no Cellophane on the box so some chocs were loose, and when it was opened all the chocolates looked like they had melted and re-hardened, and they also had a white look to them, can’t say I’m not disappointed....:(

All looks good to me and nice quick delivery

wasnt able to taste product properly as it delivered on a very hot day so it was melted and even though put in the fridge afterwards the chocolates didnt taste great. This was not the fault of thorntorns but on how it was transported by amazon.
