I purchased 2 of these shorts in the same waist size (31) but different colors and inseam lengths. The one with 5.5 inch inseam was tight around the waist, while the 7 inch inseam fit just right. Basically, the 5.5 was too tight to pull up without undoing the button, while the 7 had a lot of room to pull up (preferred for this kind of shorts with elastic).Beyond the waist fit issue, the material feels irritating. The material is stiff and stretchy which causes it to feel very uncomfortable when worn. The cut of the shorts are also uncomfortable because they seem to pull no matter how you move. You can constantly feel the shorts pulling somewhere on your body which makes them just too uncomfortable to wear. Something is wrong with the cut or maybe it's just the way these fit my body.I returned the 5.5 right away due to fit inconsistancy, but almost kept the 7. After wearing the 7 for a day, it was just too uncomfortable so I returned it too.I don't recommend these shorts as the spandex they added to the material is probably the cause of the way it pulls on your body. Not comfortable at all for me.

The colors, pockets, elastic in back and the length of these shorts - plus great fit is why I bought more of these shorts. They are not tight, but they do not stick out with too much material in the butt. The colors are another reason I like this brand. Reviewing one pair, but purchased 5 different colors and like all of them. They wash and dry well. Fold them when dry in the dryer - no wrinkles. What's not to love?

The cut/fit isn't great and the material is stiff. Not a fan, I returned it.

My husband really liked these. Elastic Waist with a fly, shorter length and not so baggy. Material seems like good quality. Pockets are a bit shallow, though. Overall, very pleased and just ordered another pair.

My husband loves these. Comfy but can look a little dressed up. Going to buy more!

These are very comfortable shorts I like the elastic waist!!!

Bought for my husband who has put a little why on. His other shorts to tight. He has a pair he likes similar. So I took a chance and looked on Amazon. He wanted all elastic waist and he has a short butt. By picture they looked good. They fit him perfect happy I bought two colors

These are nice looking shorts and the super-stretchy waist band is very comfortable. I bought two pair and am planning to buy more.
