Short version:This space heater performs as expected; solid heat output (matches all other 1500W space heaters), and has all modern safety features (auto-shutoff, overheat protection, tip over protection etc.). It also has all typical convenience features (high/low/ECO modes, oscillation, shut-off timer etc).What sets this heater apart is the smart features. You have complete control of the unit via smart phone app; you can literally control every setting, monitor the ambient temperature in the room, and apply on/off schedules. This is possible via the onboard wifi chip (which you can turn off if you'd like) which allows you to connect to the heater after registering it the mobile app and connecting it to your wifi network. I have no complaints and am completely satisfied with the purchase. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a 1500W space heater with the additional smart features. Read below for full detail.---------------------------------------Full review:I live in NY, and the winters are brutal. I have a large home with central oil heating, which can be quite expensive given today's outrageous oil prices. To give you an idea of how expensive, I recently paid $1500 to fill my oil tanks up to 75%, and I will likely need to purchase more before the spring. One way I chose to combat this is by keeping the thermostat set to a lower temperature, especially overnight, and only applying additional heat to specific rooms (bedrooms/bathrooms) when needed.To provide additional heat, I started using a standard space heater that I purchased a while back. It works fine, but does not have any smart features. I wanted one that I could control remotely. For example, I keep it in my bedroom and I want to warm the room up a bit before I head in for the night. Using the Atomi smart app, I can turn it on from my downstairs living room 15-30 minutes before heading up to bed. I can even use Alexa commands to turn it on/off and set the desired temperature.It gets quite cold in my house overnight. I can use the app to set a schedule to turn the heater on in my bedroom a few times overnight for 30 minutes at a time while keeping my central heat thermostat set to a much lower baseline. Or, I can set it on 'Eco' mode, where you set the minimum temperature and the heater turns itself on whenever the room temperature dips below it. I also have it set to turn on about an hour before I wake up, so that the room is nice and toasty when I get up.The setup process is very easy, especially if you've ever set up another smart device. The app is super intuitive and full-featured, one of the better ones that I've used to control a smart appliance (and I have many). It works as expected, and can even send notifications for when a schedule is executed. The app has the ability to set up 'Smart Scenes' that allow for IF...THEN control logic. For example, you can create a scene where it turns on at sunset and off at sunrise (not sure exactly why you would want that for a space heater....but it's functionality available to the full Atomi smart device ecosystem, not just this heater). I use a simple smart scene to turn it on at a certain time and then off 30 minutes later.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and might even pick up another one to keep in another room. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the smart features described above. If you just need a simple space heater without the smart features, you will save money by going with a standard space heater.---------------------Update February 2023About 9-10 months after purchasing the heater it started making a loud whining sound. To my untrained ear it sounds as if the motor is struggling. Other than that it is fully functional, but is unusable due to the loud distracing noise. I also don't know if I can trust a heater that has a motor problem. An interesting note is that after turning the heater off and on again the noise would go away. Over the next two months however, i find that I now sometimes have to turn it on/off 5+ times before the noise stops; it's getting progressively worse.I used the app to open a support case, described the issue, and included a video of the heater making the loud noise and then normalizing after i turned it on/off several times. They replied promptly (next business day) and asked for some details about the heater (model/serial number etc) which I easily obtained from the app, and to confirm my mailing address so they could send me a new unit.I received the new heater about a week later and it is working fine. Will this problem happen again with the new heater? Only time will tell. I did read that several other users experienced the same type of problem, so it does sound like some hardware defect that affects some of these units. At least their customer support was prompt and helpful. I will try to remember to update this review next winter (there are only a few weeks left of using a space heater this year).

Needed a heater to warm up my 3 bed room house after 2 of my small infrared heaters both died on me. Came across this heater from Atomi and liked the idea of connecting it to my WIFI.Packaged arrive sealed in a box inside of the box with no shipping damage at all. Product came undamaged and was pleasantly surprised at how much packing protection was in here. Looks like the company actually cares about their product.I thought "Well I havent heard of this brand and its probably not going to actually work with my wifi." But honestly I didnt care if it really would or not, I liked the idea of the swivel action also.Instructions were inside a little red envelope marked "Lets Get Started".... fancy. They were pretty simple to understand. Take it out of the box and download "Atomi Smart" app. Quick download off the market and installed the app. This heater is insanely easy to connect it to your wifi. Simply push the wifi button on the heater, it blinks, connect your phone to the heaters wifi signal and then it asks for your house wifi info. Was extremely impressed when it took to my network with the first try. NICE."Well its worked so far... Lets try Alexa." There is a button in the app that will allow you to select Alexa... Didn't seem to work UNTIL I opened my Alexa app and signed in. BAM! Found my Alexa, download an Alexa app real quick and it was done in a literal minute.I am able to ask Alexa to change temperature at any time and within 2 seconds the heater is raising/lowering or turning on/off. You can even set routines for it to come on early in the morning. I wake up early to work from home and setting this up an hour before I wake is perfect. I noticed the best way to do this was to set the heater to "Wake" in the app at a certain time and then turn the heater off when you go to bed. Works every morning so far after a week.Oscillating head is nice and blows heat around my house. Seems to keep the temp equal in a smaller 3 bedroom house. Has a decently sensitive seismic kill mode when shook but not too much where its annoying if it gets lightly bumped.Lastly. THIS THING BLASTS HEAT!!! We only use it on Eco mode because wow does it heat up fast. Great for standing 4 feet from and getting heat still. Definitely be careful not to block this because I wouldn't doubt it could melt something right in front of it. Around the edges don't seem to get hot and the build quality seems decent enough so I believe it will last quite a while. Better off buying this then buying 2 or 3 of those cheapo $60 ones.Cant really say I have any objections with this so far. Glad I bought it and I'm absolutely getting something else from this brand now that I see it can perform.

The media could not be loaded.  I got the heater about three months ago and after about a month this grinding noise started. It only seems to occur when it’s warming up, and only lasts for about 40 to 55 seconds. But I use it in my bedroom, so it wakes me up in the middle of the night, it’s very alarming.I will say it does give off good heat, however, the only way you can change the mode to ECO is via the App. I also wish you could change the temperature within the schedule option. It just picks up from the last temperature it was set at.All in all I would say it’s a decent heater, if it wasn’t for that awful noise. It’s not just annoying, it’s concerning. Especially for $100+. I would attempt to return or exchange it, but according to other reviews, the seller just directs people to the manufacturer.

I like the heaters output and the fact I can use it with Alexa to turn on and off, set the thermostat. I haven't figured out how/if I can change modes with Alexa yet so I use the app for that. I haven't fooled with the scheduling feature yet. After about a month my heater started making a squeaking noise when it oscillates. It works fine. It just made an annoying sound when oscillating. I dropped the manufacturer an email and told them about it. They got back to me in less than 24 hours and asked me for some basic information, purchase place, purchase date, sn, etc. Long story short, they shipped me a new one and I had it in a week! We're still using the original, just not setting it to oscillate. Honestly, I didn't think I'd even get an answer to my email much less a new unit shipped right out. Time will tell how they hold up on the long haul but you can know they address problems. Oh, it's a nice heater too. Ymmv

I was shocked at how quiet this thing is. I use eco mode most of the time but on high it chuuuucks!

La chaufferette fait bien son travail sauf, lorsqu’elle démarre, elle fait un gros bruit durant environ une minute au point que ça nous réveille la nuit. Nous devons l’utiliser seulement le jour. Pas pratique pour cette raison. J’ai acheté deux chaufferettes identiques et elles font les deux le même bruit au départ. Je ne recommande pas ce produit.

We bought this unit for our 5th wheel trailer so that we can warm it up ahead of our arrival in the fall and spring months. Otherwise we were arriving and waiting a couple hrs for the trailer to warm up. If I know we’re heading up for the day, I’ll turn it on early morning and it’s nice and toasty when we get there! It runs very quiet and throws off a good amount of heat. Extremely pleased with this heater.
