Cool, very good value , and popular with teens- it's different and retro.
This was a great buy, very popular with my grandson and his mates, its different and looks really cool.I've had one for years, it's waterproof and really tough. The watch face light that comes on is practical and he uses it a lot. Very happy with it.You can buy different straps as needed.I did buy one that wasn't entirely waterproof and it was immediately replaced by the company for a fully waterproof (to 50 m ) one.

Excellent Watch, amazing price, super pleased.
This Timex watch is excellent and looks a lot more expensive than it was. The webbing strap is nice and soft and secures well on your wrist. The bezel is 43mm and the face of the watch is 37.5mm. The main body of the watch is between 8-9mm thick so it's light on the wrist. Obviously the glass face is quite large so I've bought a pack of face protectors as a precaution. Easy to read the time and very quiet but has a nice sharp precise tick if you put it to your ear. The watch is mainly for work but to be honest you could wear it for all occasions. It "Ticks" (apologies for the pun) all the boxes for me so I'm delighted with it.

Great watch, and good price
This watch is great. It is thin and light and makes for a good every-day watch. While it is certainly rugged looking for outdoors, it is also smart enough for more formal occasssions. It looks a lot more expensive than it is (I had a similar looking Swiss watch that looked almost identical and cost several hundred pounds more!). The strap is easy to change. I bought a similar strap but black and think this looks better but you can pick straps up cheaply and have a few depending on the occasion. I only have two gripes. There is no date tracker on it. I knew this when I bought it but that would have just made it even better. And as others have said, the ticking sound is loud. I don't notice it in the day but I do at night in a quiet dark room, especially if you move your wrist near you head. After about a month of wearing it daily, the loud ticking doesn't bother me as much at night (funny how you adapt to such things!). So, not perfect, but for the price, the aesthetics, and so far no issues with it's timekeeping I would say this is a great watch and you can't really go wrong.

Nice design, poor quality
I bought this watch as it has a nice, simple design and I was hoping to buy some more in the same range. However, it started slowing down after a few weeks and was a few hours behind after a month. I thought it might have been the battery, so had it replaced. A few days later though, it stopped working again.

Loved it. Now I don't.
Loved this purchase. Great value and easy to read larger than standard face. Strap makes for very comfortable wearing. Alas it stopped on holiday. By the time I returned to the UK I was one day out of the 30 day returns policy. I suspect its the battery so it should be an easy fix. Not wishing to invalidate any guarantee I did not attend to a battery change whist on holiday. May contact Timex for advice...

I'd more than happily recommend this Timex Weekender XL watch.
This timepiece has exceeded my expectations. Its design, size and fit is perfect. The simplicity of an analogue watch like this suits somebody looking for a time keeping solution, minus the digital 'smart' features of an expensive (over complicated) watch. The time winder on the side is just as an analogue watch needs, but has the extra feature of a press-to-illuminate the watch face. See pictures I have included. The strap is adequate as is - bit due to the 20mm, straight fittings, I have personally bought a replacement strap to suit my personal style. I'd more than happily recommend this Timex Weekender XL watch.

Good value
Very pleased with it. Seems to keep perfect time, it’s comfortable to wear, it’s big enough that I can read it without spectacles and it was excellent value.

Buon orologio a basso prezzo
