A great alternative to soldering Canon Plugs
This is the fastest way to get this plug attached to a wire. I have been soldering Canon plugs onto cables for many years and anyone can learn how to do it. But larger guages of wire require higher skill levels to get it all to fit. This is a great alternative and I liked the quality. I recommend this product.

Wire is the correct gauge as stated. I would not run 5A continuous thru them because they get hot..

These work well for me
I have lots of electronic equipment (which means a lot of 12 volt power supplies). I use these to construct power cables from the equipment back to a central high-wattage 12 volt power supply.

Great quality
Just what I needed for my 12-volt security camera distributed power supply. I believe these wires are a thicker gauge than promised because I have to use two sizes up on the wire stripper. If that is true, what a great deal for the price. Wires are very durable and not cheap and flimsy. I highly recommend these.

Wire Insulation Is Not Good.
The wire pulls free of the insulation when you try to separate the two wires. You have to separate the black from the red to solder wire or terminal lugs on them. When you do separate them you have a bare wire on one side or the other due to faulty insulation. Also they are tinned on the very end and that makes it hard to strip the insulation from it. There is not enough exposed wire to solder anything to it! I trimmed the ends before I could strip the wires for soldering. I had to take a razor knife and carefully cut in between the black and red wires to use them at all. I actually destroyed several before I got them stripped and prepared to my satisfaction! I would return them but I was in a hurry to make a harness. I would not buy them again!
