If you like the taste of black licorice, you will love these little pastilles...one or two after a meal satisfies a sweet tooth.

Though I love the taste, I am not supposed to eat licorice for health reasons, if you aren't aware, look up licorice and health. So, knowing anise was pretty much the same taste without the negatives of licorice, I gave these a try. Have ordered them three times now, in packages of three. Love 'em. I wish I could get a soft anise candy, but only independent small sellers make them and they are very costly. Not these, though they are hard, they are very reasonably priced and the tin they come in is beautiful and can be reused for all kinds of things. Delightful little candies made in France.

We recently visited France and purchased some while there. My husband really enjoys them over regular mints which tend to burn his tongue so I purchased these from Amazon for him and they are great!

Have a nice flavor. I found these looking for another candy that was out of stock. If you like small jaw breakers you will like these.

If you like black licorice or anise flavor you will love these… I usually put 2 in my mouth at the same time… just yum!
