I just had a full hip replacement a couple of months ago and find my self still a little sore on my upper leg. I bought these stones along with some massage oil to massage with the heating stones. What a wonderful feeling. Great muscle relief. The rocks get pretty hot straight out of the case, you need to take care went first handling. I applied massage oil on the stones and what a nice smooth feel. A smooth glide over the skin. My husband loved his body massage with the heated stones. He definitely felt relief in his muscles. The case is a nice sturdy metal. The stones are heated directly inside the case. After a 1/2 hour pre heat, you’re ready to go! When finished with the massage stones, you either wipe them off with alcohol wipes or boil them in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. I chose to boil mine and they came out just fine.I have recommended to a friend!

This is my first set of stones. I chose this set in large part because the case is the warmer, saving me from buying a whole set-up to heat the stones or fiddle with a stove, pot, and thermometer. I didn't want to buy a bunch of things in case I didn't like using them. Turns out I love them, and so do the people I help. It's much easier to work out knots, especially the deep ones. The stones are smooth and uniform. Each stone is well protected in the case.The only flaw I have come across is the case heater. It's basically a thin electric blanket glued to the bottom of the case, with the heat coming from the wires. Since the wires are spaced apart, the smaller stones especially heat unevenly. Stones of the same size will be at different temperatures, which is less than ideal. Don't let this slight flaw deter you, though. It's a great set.

I bought this set mostly for the stones as I have a hot cabi and a crock pot to heat them. I didn't have high hopes for the heated box, but it actually works great! The stones get hot fast, and they do get really warm! I was concerned they wouldn't be hot enough, but they are! If they're too hot, I let them sit a minute or two to cool down slightly, but it doesn't take long to get to a workable temperature. Leaving the lid to the case open while working keeps them at a pretty ideal temperature. The tiny toe stones do get very hot, so I place mine on top of the large stones and that seems to prevent them from getting too hot to handle.The case is so convenient and it's great to be able to use hot stones and not have to deal with a messy, wet, cumbersome roaster or crock pot full of water! I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

They over heat if you close the top I suggest leaving the top open and rotating the stones. Great buy otherwise

Bought this as a gift for my niece as she has a bad back. We got her the oils too. She loves it as it helps with the back pain and also when she is tired to help her relax. It’s easy to heat up and clean. She can put it in her car which is great for anytime use. Recommend getting especially if back pain is an issue.

Exceptional feel. You will get plenty of stones in a variety of sizes. Once you heat them and cool them off a bit address your back, neck, face and feet!!! I love the heating case. Boil a few minutes or use alcohol to clean.

I am a newbies at using hot massage stones, so I wanted to give it a try. This particular set gets very hot. Too hot for my liking. I tried to tough it out but didn’t last very long. I wish there was a temperature control. My husband has had hot stone massages at a professional spa and he thought these were hotter. I’m sure there are people out there that can tolerate it, but this wasn’t for me or my husband. For future use, plan on leaving it on for a shorter amount of time and unplugging it so it doesn’t get as hot. Hopefully, this will solve the issue and we will be able to enjoy it. It does come in a nice case and seems to have a good variety of quality stones. That’s why I rated it at 3.
