Bad workmanship issue here. Not Good!
The seat broke at the weld.....Damn near broke my back when I hit the garage floor. I'm only 150 lbs, so weight shouldn't be an issue here. It's a bad weld of the seat to the round coupling. This is made in the USA? Wen better do better than this.

What do you expect for 25$
Bought this thing in feb of 2018 . Im a tech at a gm dealership and i do most of the electrical and interior work. I bought this chair based on the price reviews and well amazon said it was their choice.. anyway had this thing for a month or so and used it maybe 10 times... then one day im working on a trailer hook up harness on a truck and literally not even kidding... i fell off of it with the seat and the actual hydraulic cylinder and wheels went flying in the opposite direction. Everyone stopped and laughed which i would too but the dang thing was junk so i threw it in our dumpster months ago. Only reason why i wrote the review now was because one of the other techs brought that story up to me today. Any way i may have got a dud and if the seller would send me a new one so i can try it again the second review might be better. But its all your choice. It was 25$ of cheap steel.

It’s still funny when people fall.
Sure it’s funny when someone falls. Not when that someone’s me though. I got this early January 2019 and it dropped me on my ass March 24th 2019. I’m 200lbs and was using it pretty much daily. At first I thought it was a descent stool but really it’s a piece of shit. You get what you pay for I guess. I mainly bought it because it’s Bengals colors. Oh yea, and I needed a stool for the shop. Unfortunately it’s not a welding shop because the weld snapped off when I was on it.$30 for 3 months of use. They should rent them at that $10/month price. At least then I’d get a new one.So now I’m without a stool. I feel lost. If anyone has an extra stool could you send it my way? Thanks.I would highly recommend this stool if you enjoy unexpectedly falling on your ass, or if you just like poorly made things in general. If not, I recommend moving on down the list and finding something that maybe costs a bit more from a different manufacturer. This could be a good stool for a child I guess also.

the price reflects the quality
the price reflects the quality. purchased in late February and not used daily. I thought for limited use it would be OK. the seat broke off the stand.within 3 months. it worked out to be about $5 per use. really poor quality.

A true gem that turned out to be much more useful than expected
After a move I purchased this stool to save my knees grief when running ethernet cable along baseboards. The stool turned out to be very useful for nearly all tasks typically requiring the need to get on the floor such as installing baseboard cabinet shelf paper and organizers, stripping floor wax in corners and baseboards, trimming carpet padding under oriental carpets and vacuuming under the bed and low furniture.I hit the convenience jackpot when I discovered that the stool was perfect for doing laundry with my new front loading washer and dryer. A stairwell in the laundry room precludes the use of pedestals even if one was willing to cough up the ridiculously high price for them so I use the lowest setting on the stool to sit down to load and unload the laundry. The stool's low seat allows me to easily reach small items such as socks that are fond of plastering themselves to the back of the washer and dryer. I can even sit on the stool to hang laundry to dry on a drying rack or a low pole to hang things on hangers coming out of the dryer. This has actually made doing laundry such a pleasant, relaxing task that I will never go back to standing wile doing laundry. While it rolls easily, even over areas where the oriental carpets with pads make for a high bump, the stool is so lightweight that it is no trouble to just pick it up to move it from room to room.I did find that the slick seat made the stool inclined to want to slip out from under me if I leaned far forward on it. I solved the problem with this baibu Super Breathable Round Bar Stool Cover Seat Cushion Black 13" which also adds extra cushioning to the seat. Also, the metal base has no bumper to prevent it from potentially marring furniture, baseboard molding or my washer and dryer. I used this D-Shape Weather Stripping Door Seal Hollow Black (5 Feet) to solve that problem.

It's a basic rollie stool that I welded and will never have to worry about
I had a pneumatic stool exactly like this one that I picked up locally at a big box store about 3 years ago. It had the welds fail (multiple welds fail in different spots). The fact of the matter is, these probably would have failed too. They were welded quickly, with very little fill wire, and at an extremely low heat. The second I received this, I stitched some more welds on all the same spots (see pictures). I realize not everyone has access to a welder but I'm fortunate enough that I do. The thing that sold me on this is that I don't need a box frame rollie stool that has magnetic bases and ultra amazing this's or thats. I just need the thing to roll around while I'm working on a car or in the garage where I can toss tools underneath. The reason my other rollie stool got replaced by this is because I let the heat from the welds get too hot and the base warped. I didn't want to hammer it out and I needed a new pneumatic cylinder anyway so I bought this one. It does exactly what I needed it to do and with 10 minutes of modification (with a few snowballs to absorb all the heat while I was welding this time), it's never ever going to go break. Will it need a new pneumatic cylinder in a month? A year? 5 years? Maybe. Guess what? You can buy them for 10$ and it literally sits there. No attachment points anywhere. I also ordered some 3" 8T8 chair caster wheels with a threaded shaft. I'm going to replace the ones on this one with those - not because there is anything wrong with these. I just wanted a quieter rolling around experience. All-in-all I'll be in this seat about 50$ and 10 minutes of welding. I don't foresee this seat skeleton failing ever and I bet you can find someone who will help you weld this up for free or for 10-20$ to guarantee nothing ever breaks while you're sitting on it.The padding is actually pretty squishy and thick. Better than my previous rollie stool

No assembly needed, comfy, great for working on my motorbike.
Like it a lot.

More than I expected
For the price, this is a surprisingly sturdy little stool. Moves around just fine on smoothly rolling wheels. Base is very solid steel and doubles as a tool tray. Assembled in 2 minutes with no tools. Seat is smallish but would be fine for anyone up to 200lbs. Although rated for 300lbs, I don’t think that would end well. All in all, a reasonably priced, solid option especially for doing wheel-work or waxing car side panels.

wasn't level / feels cheap
I'm a happy owner of a Wen drill press, which prompted me to order their stool, but wasn't as impressed with this product. For one, it was a lot smaller than I expected. I don't know why but looking at the picture made me think it would have been larger. The bigger issue was that only 4 out of 5 wheels would touch the ground at one time, causing it to wobble (imagine a chair with one leg several mm shorter). I tested it on different areas of my tile floor to make sure it wasn't the floor's fault. I believe the issue was that the lip on one end was slightly bent upward, causing the wheels to not be level.Could have just been damage from shipping or maybe bad luck, but I also didn't feel like asking for a replacement because it felt cheaply made overall. So different from the quality of the drill press I got from them.

Works fine
I don't have a need to use this stool very often but I need to have something to save my aging back and legs. For the price I got exactly what I was hoping for. People with problems often like to warn people but none of the problems talked about happened to me. The seat was fine, didn't break (I'm 180 lbs), the wheels were fine unless I tried to run over junk on the garage floor, the seat raised and lowered as expected with the hand lever, and my back and knees were spared the pain I used to get without a stool. Totally worth the four day wait for it to arrive. I need to use it more to access its durability (that is why only four stars)

Not the greatest quality.
This is my first Wen product and I can easily say you get what you pay for.Assembly is tool less. But everytime I pick it up, the seat detached from the base. Super annoying. I just epoxied it on now.The seat flex’s like crazy so I’d be afraid to put full weight. Not sure how it can be rated for 300lbs. Looks like the cushion will come off the 4 screws at any time.I think I may convert for use in my spray booth setup.
