Great performance, no issues.
I was a little worried when I went with an off brand liquid mask for doing watercolor work but I'm glad I did. This stuff works great! I've tried it on Canson 140lb watercolor paper and Canson Multimedia paper as well... it sticks to the paper enough to block out the watercolor, but it's pretty easy to remove! It doesn't damage the paper at all.Basically I wanted affordable masking fluid that performs as expected without issue and that's what this is. It doesn't damage the paper and it doesn't leave any residue. Perfect.Pro-tip: you can also use painter's tape (that blue masking tape) to lift the masking fluid once dry, but it's not necessary.

It’s pretty good on the right things
Its really good masking fluid, it doesn't tear when I use Arches paper but that’s only arches or paper that’s not 100% cotton. For all my other test paper it does tend to tear, but I completely blame my paper since it’s way cheaper

best product of its kind on the market
Well not much you can really say. It does the job its supposed to do, its a great product, great quality, and gets the job done. its the perfect size, and it definitely keeps paint from going where you don't wnat it to go. peels away easily after use, even after leaving it on for a good amount of time. definitely the best product out there at a great price

Works okay
I've used this brand in the past. It usually works well, however there have been times that the removal process has been challenging. I find that if I use a thinner layer it usually peels off easier without issue.

Making my watercolor experience great
This masking fluid smells awful, but it is easy to use, and the best part is that it dries clear. A bottle will last you a long time if you are careful not to waste it. It rubs off easily when it’s dry with the masking lift off scrubber.

Great for watercolour painting!
I am a beginning watercolour painter and bought this after seeing others recommending it on YouTube. What a cool product! Instead of worrying about painting over areas that you want to leave white or a pale colour tou can simply put this on the paper, let dry then do your painting and then peel it off once your other paint is dry.I used it in this painting. I just did of my senior rescued Himalayan cat that just passed away. The polka dots on her bed were done using this product.

Good value for the price
I like this product. It is good for coating small areas and fine details. It goes on pretty smoothly. There is a lot there. I did 25 paintings using it so far and I haven't even come close to using half. It doesn't seem to work very well when you cover a large area. I had a issue with it ripping up the paper.

Works but stanks
It works fine on my hot pressed paper but rips my cold pressed papers which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it does its job, at least on the hot pressed paper. The only thing is oh my god the stench is awful

Despite some bad reviews, this stuff works
I'm using this on my R/C Lexan bodies, works. Little patient and need to get use to how much to apply for your application's needs.Mine didn't come like some people said like expired clunky milk. Viscosity of mine was like water paint / super glue thin, which looks normal. It's a little bit thinner than the liquid mask I bought from Japan before but this still works for me. No complains....I use a paint brush to apply. You can also use those hobby grade (less lint and more dense) q-tips to apply. But Brush is the best for me. Have fun!
