Good Monitor Headphones for Home Recording
I need a set of headphones to monitor my digital audio interface and DAW. These appear to be good quality headphones that should last a while. I sound quality if fine to my ears but I'm not an audiophile per say and have a bit of hearing loss to boot. Cord length is comfortably adequate and they don't weight much so that's a plus. They seem comfortable for long recording sessions though I'm not used to using top of the line pro gear so if you're coming from that you might find some aspects below your standards. For me they're perfectly fine.

Great headset for DJ, Small studio, or Podcasting.
I bought these mainly to mess around with Ableton Live and start making a few songs with an Arturia Minilab keyboard. A few things to note: 1. They sound great with great base levels. However once you increase the base levels they tend to distort a bit. 2. They have are great noise cancelation compared to another pair that i own. My wife would be on video calls and complain that she could hear the music on my old pair even after turning them down. On these i can turn them up pretty high and she will not hear them. This can be a plus if you want them for a kid who uses a tablet for youtube or something like that. 3. They are comfortable compared to other sets i have used in the past or even my last set of headphones. Even though i can wear them for a couple of hours, you will feel a little tension on your ear after long use. Compared to my old pair this is not a complaint as i could only wear my old pair for 30 minutes at a time before having to take them off due to the pain on my ears. 4. I would definitely recommend for dj's but they may not have a good enough balance for professional mixing in a study. They will also do great as personal monitor headphones such as a drummer who is recording. These may also be great for a beginner podcast studio as they have a long cable. 5. Last thing is after two months of normal use, the mackie logo seems to be coming off or erasing. This is a bummer as it is what adds to the esthetic of the headphones. You can see this on one of my uploaded images. I still rated 5 stars even though the logo is coming off because the quality of audio you are getting for the price is unbeatable.

Good tracking headphones for recording situations
I was looking for cheap, loud, closed back headphones for tracking at a project studio. These fit the bill. Time will tell how sturdy they are, but so far I’m impressed. The sound is also surprisingly pleasing, as I had low expectations based on the price. Nice long cord, comfortable to wear. As long as they hold up over the next few months, I will likely be purchasing more.

Works well!
Good budget studio monitor. Comfortable enough with enough sound clarity to get you going.

Really good headphones, can't believe they were so affordable
I bought these for my son, for music production work on the PC. I was blown away at how good they sound. They don't have a shrill high end treble like a lot of studio headphones, so they're a little warm sounding. You can hear the bass, and not worry about the high end making you (or your child) deaf. I liked these headphones so much I ordered a higher end Mackie headphone for myself (MC-350) but I was shocked to discover the MC-100s are better... Not only do the MC-100s sound better, they fit better. MC-100s are second generation headphones. Mackie learned from their 150/350/450 series and released a higher quality headphone with the MC-100. I would recommend this headphone for someone that needs studio headphones but can't afford something high end. And they're exceptionally good for a kid because they're affordable and relatively durable.

Great comfort + sound quality
Volume sounds super clear and can be turned up enough to make you go deaf, nice to have the option. Apparently people ise these for guitar amps or something, i just wanted a good pair for my phone and they work great so far, really comfortable too as ive gone to sleep with them on amd they dont end up hurting my big a$$ head.

Great, but not as advertised
The sound quality is amazing. Some of the best sounding headphones I've used for recording. They also do a great job of blocking outside noise. A common problem when recording vocals is the mic picking up sound from the headphones. That also wasn't an issue with these. The issue I have is that these were shown to have a removable cord, but the cord is actually fixed onto the headphones. That was a feature that was important to me. I like having the freedom to choose the cable length and type. That's the reason for the lower rating. Items should be as advertised.

5 Stars for the Price
You get what you pay for. No, they are not great sounding headphones, but they are decent enough. Unhappy with the "kid" options available on Amazon, I got these for my 6yo. They fit him fine, are comfortable, and sound MUCH better than the $30 JBL TUNE 500s they replaced. I would not hesitate to buy these again, and strongly recommend considering these over the junk they have targeted towards kids.

First time buyer
Audio seems comparable to Sony XB550 except bass is weaker (however, this can be fixed with eq). Do note that an adaptor will be required if it's to connect to PC or laptop. Yet to thorougly test it out. However, for it's price range, it's a good option for entry level headphones.

Great value for money
The sound quality is great. The build quality is great. Comfortable to wear for long periods. I travel almost nonstop and bought this pair for listening to music in airports and on planes while I wait for repair parts for my broken m50x. The only problem I had is the cord is too long for this and its permanently attached. I opened them up, shortened the cord by about half, resoldered it, retied the strain relief knot and put them back together. Compares favorably with much more expensive pairs, bought these for under $40 and I treat them roughly.
